Are there any "lifehacks" to pass the drift challenges?

I’m having trouble with the drift challenges on the outposts for cheaper fast travel since things like drift tyres, drift suspension etc. doesn’t exist

I’m not exactly sure anymore, but I think I used to do those challenges with AWD and the least grip possible with as much power as possible. The challenges are really hard, especially the ones where you rely on the multiplier and the skill chain breaks all the time.
But if you try the drift challenges long enough and try out different cars you might find something that works for you.
With RWD cars I used to put wider tires in the front and the thinnest on the rear.
As far as I know, they started a bonus for the drift angle in FM7 and FH3, so in FH1 it shouldn’t matter how big the angle is, as long as you get it a little bit sideways it’s already enough.

Go to My Profile/Options/Difficulty. Change driving assists to:
BRAKING: ABS OFF
STEERING: NORMAL
TRACTION CONTROL: OFF
SHIFTING: MANUAL.

Use Manual shifting, so you can decide which gear to be in and keep the revs high, but don’t mash the throttle (gas), feather it. Use handbrake (e-brake) to get back end out if necessary.
