To his defense last month during the WIR it was mentioned they were back on track with the first Tuesday of the month releases. So it is a delay…or is it a late April fool’s joke
not sure which week in review you saw it but I couldn’t see it mentioned anywhere in the last 2 months of them
but anyway it was announced in this weeks Week in Review it was coming on the 10th, so don’t expect any dlc clue thread until a few days before that, if at all
Don’t know how it works in America but here in the UK Easter is a whole holiday like Christmas. It’s not just Sunday. Good Friday and Easter Monday are days off for the majority and then you have the schools which are shut for two weeks.
But God forbid Turn10 employees are allowed a little time off, right…
So when Forzathon Kick off tomorrow ther will be no one in the office for 2 or 3 days why is it that this feels like a bad omen for a flawless Forzathon Guess time will tell on this one and the car pack will arrive when it arrives is this car pack 4 or 5 my memory is shot with things like that.
Which like I said, easter is on a Sunday, they have the normal weekend like most everyone else does. To avoid the whole topic that’s banned from discussion on the forums, (religion) is why I put the whole I digress part in my comment.
Anyway, this is irrelevant to the topic of the thread.
As mentioned, it will happen Friday. Even though we already know one of the new cars.
I’m hoping for that Mustang people speculated about in the March DLC thread, a Corvette GTP and… since this is IMSA, there’s a chance we’ll even have the BMW GTP as well, which would be ace even though the car wasn’t very successful.
Furthermore, I’m pretty sure Chevrolet fielded C4 Corvettes in the GTO class as well, so there’s plenty of things Turn 10 could still add to the game!
I mean, when there was the “commercial deal” excuse at least we could give them the benefit of the doubt. We could say “well okay hopefully the new Colorado that Chevy is trying to push is a trade for the new ZR-1 in the next pack!” or something.
The fact that a group of people sat around and agreed that a Chevy Colorado, Volvo SUV, redundant Jeep, off-road leaning Ram pickup, old Nissan Patrol and so on would make the best additions to a Motorsport-series game is horribly depressing and does not inspire much hope for the future of this series.
I guess we can still hope it’s just laziness? That they are modeling them now for Horizon 4 (which is being viewed as the new “main” Forza series) so that they can get double use out of them and not have to use resources/time to model vehicles that actually serve a purpose in the Motorsport series. Not that laziness is much better though…
So they have a partnership with Porsche and they removed the 1998 911 GT1 in favor for the Strassenversion? I guess that was too redundant unlike the Grand Cherokee SRT and Trackhawk. I read that thread. JONK makes some very good points but other times it leaves me scratching my head with their other decisions for car additions. Its contradictory sometimes but I see their point. Good to know they allegedly keep a close eye on the wishlists.
I want to know who decided it was a good idea to add the buggies, lol. The Nomad drives somewhat acceptably but the others are easily the worst cars in the game.
The trucks on the other hand aren’t too bad to drive, especially when fitted with proper tires (in division racing you can’t do that obviously).
