I got the Free Supra because it’s Free. I’m not a huge fan, but I did tune it to a good time on one of the San Giovanni events - SatNiteEduardo I won’t be on FH2 a lot this week due to the real world calling me but I’m calling you out on this one - when I come back, I want to see you having beaten me on this event in a Supra FF. I know you, you cannot let a time 0:00.001 faster than you stand. As for anyone else reading this looking for a challenge - I think it’s the last track in the san Giovanni Rivals section (but not 100% sure, you can check by seeing which event I did in an S2 Supra FF - there’s only one and it’s only in San Giovanni) - set the best time you can on this Cross Country event with an S2 Toyota Supra FF!!
As for the Supra - it’s ok, but I’m not a huge fan. I don’t like that it’s been pre-built. It works as a drag car and if tuned right, a drift car but it’s not that good otherwise. Sure, I did well in a rivals event in it but that doesn’t’ define it as a good car, I’d never use it online or for other events, I only did the rivals with it because I was challenged to. If we had it stock, it could be put to very good use but as it is, the combination of car and upgrades is not my thing.
I did not get the pack but seeing the cars I’m worried the same applies to the remaining cars as to the Supra. Lots of pre-built cars that may or may not be built well and force you to use the cars in a category that may not be natural for them. I’d love to drive the 2015 Charger R/T, I’d love to drive the Ghibli, I’d love to take the Roadrunner out for a bit, and based on the surprise I got building my Challeger SRT8 I might even enjoy the 2015 Challenger. I could even live with it if we had to keep the visuals and body mods on if we had these cars in their actual stock classes but we can’t so I have chosen not to buy the pack.
The only car I could see having pre-built and pre-tuned is Dom’s Cars because it’s a replica of an existing pre-built car. I’m glad that you can upgrade it further and even tune it but to me, I would have been fine with tuning only, or maybe even having it as a locked car. It’s Dom’s car, that’s how he built it, that’s how it stays - if you want to mess with it then you jump into a stock 1970 Challenger that “oh wait,” wasn’t included with the pack but could have been if the cars were all in stock classes. In the end, I know it all comes down to licensing and it’s a long and often complicated process so I’m not angry, I’m not upset, but I’m definitely not buying the pack unless someone messages me a code to download it for free. Seeing as that won’t happen anytime soon, I’m totally happy enjoying the remaining 280 something cars in the game.
I have just bought the Fast and Furious Car Pack and I was wondering on were to find the cars at. Ive checked the garage and they arent there. Im just really confused
so whats the excuse this time about the 360 version? I mean the cars are in the expansion for 360. They will charge in due time for that expansion… but they or sumo can’t bring over just one car pack? Amazing
Title says it all, also my first post here. Loving this game but for for the life of me I can’t track down these cars in “my cars” or in the garage. Am I missing something?
Alright so over the last couple nights I’ve managed to get a few hours in with the pack. So far I’m pretty impressed with the cars. They’re all surprisingly well behaved and easy to drive. The Cuda in particular is a joy to drive despite upgrading it to S1. A slight nitpick, I don’t know why the F&F producers are calling it a '70 when it’s clearly a 72-74. Dom’s Charger is a blast; I wish we could put the 8spd trans out of the 15 Charger in it haha. I haven’t gotten to the Jeep or Supra yet but so far so good.
A few pictures, because everyone loves pictures. More in my gallery.
Thats cool that cudas mostly a 70’s its a bastardized I believe. Hollywood commonly does this to cars the rears been customized not sure why. during filming it was rumored they used front/rear body panels off a more recent challenger for Letty’s heist car since the 15 was still in yet to be released, then in Forza Presents Furious 7 its 2015 challenger when in the movie its clearly not its 2014 or earlier…
PS some parts are cheaper to salvage than others(70-71 Cuda & Challenger Parts or Highly Coveted in the restoration/collector communities 72-74 was all down hill as far as most are concerned)
how does the F&F cuda perform against the 71 hemi already in the game the motor in the AAR should be based off the 340 sixpack?
I think that in 7 her Challenger is meant to look like the 2015 model without being one. I have to admit that the 2015 Charger looks better than the older modern Charger.
The Forza Horizon 2 Car Pass covered the first six monthly car packs from October through March. That’s 36 cars for the price of 25 if you count the free cars every month. The Furious 7 car pack has 8 cars for the price of 5, and is not covered by the Car Pass, which is done now.
The supra is actually competitive online. Ive won S1 races in it and when I was an S2 Bugatti SS taking turns properly in a long Nice circuit I was surprised to find a Supra FF easily holding up (On straights too), even passing me at some points; could be worth a look at
I bought the April car pack in July and the stupid thing won’t give me the update and it is getting very Annoying I’m tired of waiting so plz Microsoft/t10 give me the update
