Apparently God | FH2 Forzatography Gallery - Well Overdue (50+ Shots Mega Set) [14/08/15]

My personal favourite has to be this one for a few reasons. But the main one has to be the composition.

I like how you captured the road fading into the fog here. And that hyundai paint is BRIGHT!

Top notch! You even made the Megane look amazing.

Whoa man, you have some serious skills. I mean just wow, fantastic pictures all around. Just absolutely stunning!

You recent post of the Ferrari is amazing! Great set!

So vibrant!!

Mama mia!

I’m only quoting the first picture so i don’t fill a post with every picture but all of those LaFerrari shots… :open_mouth: …what is this sorcery?

My first thought on the “Hey Mambo” set was this. Believe it or not, I actually have this song on my phone, and yes, I do get tons of stares and questionable looks for it. You know I love all Ferrari’s, and the “Nella Mystic” update is excellent too. I love how you mixed in a few reasonably priced cars in the set too. Brilliant!

Cheers,
Ace

Great shot right there!

+1 I also really like the shots LaFerrari!

Every shot in the last 2 updates mate are stunning couldn’t fault a single one(not that id want to)
always nice to have a wonder around your art gallery

@Guguhype - Thank you very much! I always enjoy reading your comments. In the last 2 updates, I was having fun exploring the depth you’re able to create with the car. The majority of the shots share that sense of depth but that one in particular was an extreme example that fit very nicely with the Huayra. Also, in the second shot, it’s all about angles. In reality, I was pulling out of a Forza Hub doing about 10 mph

@Pebb - That was another shot I happened to find while exploring the surroundings. After discovering the angle, I thought the plants in the front would tie in well. They helped create a lot of depth without relying too much on the aperture which allowed me to keep most of the car in focus. Thanks for stopping by, too!

@iHomie OG - Thank you! I’ve been wanting to capture a shot like this for a while but it’s not often I come across this type of weather, and even rarer that I’m in the right area when it happens.

@Sergi01978 - I’ve never been much of a Renault fan but I made a bit of an exception for it when the drivatar was passing. Thanks!

@Insane Riducle - Thank you, that’s very appreciated. I’ve been taking photos in Forza since FM2 so I’ve had quite a bit of time to progress to where I am today

@Weirdest Acrobat - Thanks! I felt that I should document my first drive with the LaFerrari in Horizon 2. There’s been so much work done with it in the forums that I had forgotten I didn’t have one!

@Lethal Drift - Both you and iHomie seemed to have pick up on that one  I titled that one “Vivid” on Flickr but Vibrant would have worked just as well.

@Morc 57 - Sunsets, shadows, and LaFerraris seem to go together really well

@The Snooty One - The sorcery in question appears to be a mix of a whole lot of luck and a little bit of alcohol. I’m just gonna leave it at that  Thanks for the comment!

@vAcesWild - I felt it was a fitting title after working with an Italian car (the Pagani) and having my favorite shot of the set focused on the Italian flag. That being said, I had Dean Martin’s version of Mambo Italiano in mind though since that’s the one I have on my phone  I have a small section like that in my music library that was influenced by all the mob movies I’ve watched and Fallout games that I’ve played. I’m glad you enjoyed that reference though. Most of my titles (but not all) are references or lyrics from songs that either match the mood, share a specific subject or were simply what I was listening to at the time. Bonus points to whomever can match the last title to the correct artist.

@DeathMetalRacer & Nights Viper - Thank you! I felt that one got overlooked due to the LaFerrari shots before it. Nights Viper helps prove my point

@HOOKERno1 - Well, I don’t know about “art gallery”… Thank you very much for the comment

Just thought I’d stop by and respond to the last batch of comments. Things are busy again for me which is good. The extra time I had for my final project paid off quite well and now practicum is well underway. On top of that, I’ve been trying to stay up to date with Formula 1 (Bahrain’s outcome was exactly what I had been hoping for) and following the Canucks on their (unrealistic) journey to the Stanley Cup.

In the mean time I managed to snap a couple of shots. Almost quite literally a couple. Three :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve also been following the various competitions in the Media Center. I don’t know how many new entries I’ll get to enter for the next little while but I would still like to participate in them so I think I’ll go ahead and post some of shots I have in mind for current and future contests.

Out On A Limb

Drivatars having their own private race is pretty common place at Horizon. I found this one in particular very amusing considering the rarity of the cars they were using.

Word Association Game: Elegance Contest Entries:
A few that I had in mind. Can’t decide though :stuck_out_tongue:

If you’re wondering about the title,
think twice, that’s my only advice

Cheers!

These two shots, holy cow man; just stunning!
Not to slight any of the others in the set, all are quite amazing.

These shots are just superb. I can’t find a single thing wrong with them, and I’m not just saying that. That M235i shot is excellent - what gives with the size of the image on here though? As I write this it seems tiny compared to the others. Must be a portrait vs landscape thing.

Cheers,
Ace

What a lovely piece of Forzatography ^^

Glad to hear it’s going well with your project and practicum

Cheers,
Marius

^Liked that shot as soon as I saw it on Flickr. Out on an limb, as in you’re enjoying that swing on the tree?

Love the LaFerrari shot!

Also, this would be great in the Elegance comp!

I have to agree with LD here.

Superb Portrait right here,
