Hello, you probably don’t know me but I ran RDT3(a Forza Racing Club club via Reddit) I have been building this site to help keep track of clubs, racing series, drivers results from races and any data we can derive. I have been working with RDT3 and they have been been helping me test the site by inputting results from their recent races and so far so good!
WHAT IS MY POINT? ugh here it comes… I started a gofundme([Mod Edit] to help make this site open to the public. I am trying to raise 5 years worth of domain and hosting costs. It’s a free site, no ads, no strings attached. I just don’t have the money to pour into the costs of keeping this open to the public.
WHAT I AM ASKING YOU TO DO - donate $1 and/or check out the gofundme for details about the site and give me some feedback and let me know what you think the site needs. I’m totally open to suggestions.
TL;DR; I made a sick forza site and I need to crowd-fund it([Mod Edit], but it’s actually cool so will you check it out and possibly donate?

Correct. It would be usable for people who run private racing leagues. Another forum I’m a part of has a private racing league, and we currently use Google Docs to host things like specs and race results in spreadsheets. A dedicated site would be much cooler. It’d be neat to see a preview/screenshots of how it’s set up. I am running our league next season and would definitely be interested. Could also possibly do some beta testing if you still need data inputs

Thanks for viewing this forum topic. Just a correction. this site is not going to be used commercially. It’s a completely free-to-use site with NO ADS and I’m not a company of any sort. I’m a developer that loves Forza and wanted a better way to keep track of racing series that we run and derive stats from the results that we log. It’s pretty cool. IF you don’t want to donate, which is fine, it would be cool to get people to help show support.

Perhaps it was not clear what was meant by that the first time, please allow me to correct that this second time. You cannot advertise your GoFundMe campaign here. What the campaign is seeking to raise funds for is immaterial, as it is simply not allowed.
In addition, you cannot and should not be posting personally identifying information such as email addresses. More importantly, if a moderator edits your post to remove inappropriate material, any attempts to circumvent that action is likely to lead to something unpleasant.

hang on, what your asking is for ppl to input the race results onto your site.
the racing sites that i know use spreadsheets to keep data so would have no use for your site.
infact why would anyone use your site to display data from their own race site or series, not sure what your trying to do but it sounds like you keep the data for a particular race site and think it will work for others too.
And my site could import the data from those spreadsheets, and help you to derive really cool information like: who finishes the best at laguna seca, what tracks do I finish the best at, what is my overall average finish since I started racing, what is my average finish like when I first stated versus what it is like in the past 3 months. Spreadsheets are cool, we used to use them, but it take s a lot of time to set these things up correctly. If you have one that is great and is working for you that is awesome, but for people who want to start new clubs from scratch and are scared to jump in with the big boys, it is hard to do or takes too much time/effort. I do think it will work for others especially if I get good feedback like yours that tells me there are other data that you guys are recording so I can accommodate you.
