Any way to "Favorite" a car?

I’ve always felt the game needs this feature so bad.

I like to collect cars and drive them all in Forza games, but after a while it gets really difficult to remember which were the cars I liked to drive most, and there’s no way to add them to a list, unless I make a note on my phone - Not very practical.

Why can’t we “favorite” cars? Why isn’t this a thing in Forza, with all the hundreds of cars available?
It could be very simple to implement, like an option in the menus (“add to favorites”), and we’d have a handy list whenever we needed.

Anybody feels the same way?

I’m pretty sure you could “favorite” a car in Forza Horizon 3 but I don’t think that has made its way into Motorsport yet. That will be something to look for when the game launches. Several YouTubers are posting FM7 game footage. If any of them include footage of them scrolling through their garage, look to see if there’s an option to favorite a car at the bottom of the screen.

I’ve never noticed this option in any Forza, not least Horizon 3, unless it’s not straightforward, in that case I apologize.

In all the videos I’ve seen from Forza 7, I haven’t seen the option to “favorite” a car.
Really hope they do it, because it will be pretty hard to keep up with all 700 cars, and remember which ones are the best to drive.

It’s in Horizon 3. Click on a car in your garage and some options pop up (get in, remove, etc.) and add to favs is one of them. Then you can sort your cars by favs only.

In FH3 it’s one of a number of options when you select the car in the garage… IIRC the others include remove and auction…

I stand corrected. I swear I searched for this feature before in FH3 and couldn’t see it. Could have asked before and save me some trouble.

But anyway, here’s hoping this feature returns in FM7. It will come real handy to mark the best cars out of those 700+.

Thanks for the help guys

it was in either FM4 or FM5… Leaning towards FM4. Though it might have been in both.

Was just checking FM5 and the only options available when you click on a car in your garage are: Get in Car; Remove; View; History.

FM6 doesn’t have it either.

Would still need to check FM4, though.

Hi All,

I remember a feature in Forza 4 that allowed you to ‘favourite’ your cars so they would appear at the front of the car selection menus, so you can easily pick your favourite cars when playing online.

I apologize if i’ve missed it but is there a way to do the same in Forza 7? As this game is all about ‘collecting’ now, it is easy to get a garage full of different cars and it becomes incredibly tedious to find the cars you’ve customized and tuned amongst all of your collected cars in a multiplayer session.

I would love to mark some cars as ‘favourite’ again so they appear at the top of each manufacturer.

Thanks

I agree that this is a feature I miss from Forza 4. I loved the ability to group and label my garage how I wanted. It is something that would definitely be available now. I used it a lot to group my cars by type/favorite, cars needing readied for auction, and cars ready to be put in the auction house.

Have been looking for it but have not seen yet may be coming in an update as makes things easier

Yes I agree. I wish they bring back what they had in forza 4. In 4 you were able to form and name groups of cars. I like putting cars that I’m painting in one group, others that I’m grinding or racing with in others. I feel with fm7 it’s needed more then ever, in 7 the object is to collect and grow your collection. I lot of my criticism with forza 7 seemed to be with the interface. I seem to be spending a lot of time scrolling. There no RB bump when looking through my vynils, no storefront so friends can’t find what I have up,

Setting a car in Forza 7 to Favorite is right next to the option to add AI drivers to Private Matches. Meaning, it’s not in the game

The more I play the game, the more things I wish were in it. Day 1, I would have given F7 a solid 9 out of 10. Now on Day 14, I’ll give it a generous 6 out of 10. Just way too much of a downgrade from previous Forzas.

I went from a 9 to a 7 for similar reasons. However, favorites were never in the main series. I guess it doesn’t fit the “drive all cars” narrative of Turn 10’s bosses, that culminated in the tier collection and homololig…whatever it is systems. Maybe one day they will learn that you should not force your players to play your game a certain way. I know after driving the Polaris and the Atom in their respective championships in Forza 7 that I am not willing to do that, especially if it’s just a random championship thrown together by an intern. The game needs variety in its track selection, not in the number of cars I drive (I stick to my ten favorites, thank you very much).

Forza 4 did indeed have favorites. One of the many reasons it’s the best in the series…and it launched 6 years ago on the prev gen console. Sigh. Bite me turn 10.

Over 700 cars, mainline Forza Motorsport game, outpaced by the Horizon spinoff in car management. Way to go Turn 10!

In a game which encourages you to buy as many cars as possible and rewards you with the ability to buy more cars and also gives you a level that can be seen in any online session, i am surprised that there is no favourite car feature. I have about 5 cars which i constantly use, some for racing, drag and drift. Finding them is a nightmare because of the amount of cars i have. In an online lobby i only have about half a minute to scroll through more than 100 cars to find it. It would be so much easier to be able to favourite cars so that you can apply the filter of show favourite cars only and then uve got the car you want. Also even if your showing your friend the best cars in your garage, you dont want to have to scroll past 100 cars before you get to it, you just want to be able to have it there. Having an option to favourite cars would be very usefull for players and im surprised it hasnt been added yet.

I really miss the option to favourite a car. Forza delivers some fun racing, but the interface (in Forza 7 as well as in Horizon 4) is an absolute nightmare. I constantly find myself looking for options I’ve used before, but am unable to find when I need them. I don’t understand how a franchise this big is not able to build a logical, transparent interface.
