[ANSWERED] Still constantly disconnecting, where are the new servers

2 days ago we were told that new servers were rolling out over 24 hours and that would fix everyone’s disconnect issues. Is anyone else still constantly disconnecting? Can’t play online at all. XB1

Try properly restarting your console from the console settings menu where it says restart console

I’ve restarted both consoles multiple times. I’ve reinstalled the game. I even went and bought a new router to upgrade my network.

We have 2 consoles. One has a wired connection and one is wireless and we disconnect at the same time, so it’s not a problem on our end.

I just did another hard restart and booted up a fresh installation on a brand new xb1x and I still disconnect in 1-5 minutes making online play impossible.

Played 10 ranked matches yesterday, disconnected once in 10 sets, and fortunately, it even counted my disconnect race set.

Well that’s great for you but I’m still stuck with no way to do anything. I talked to Microsoft and they are willing to work with people for refunds due to the product being defective.

It’s possible to get a refund?

After eight updates the multiplayer still doesn’t work properly and they obviously can’t fix it. So yes, it’s a defective product.

If this is true, where do i need to go/who do i need to see?

I was asking also. Microsoft is mentioned above, although I’d be surprised (pleasantly) if people were refunded.

Hi, I do have the same issues. The game forces us to play online, but the online sessions always disconnect after a while. I played the mini games from the game list and while playing the last of 5 rounds (won 4 of the 5 games) the connection got lost! I tried many times to finish this online part, but with getting disconnected all the time it is just a joke. Fix the servers! My Torredo is working fine and NAT type is open. 200 Mbit/s internet connection also should be fine.

It’s not a problem on our end trust me I’ve gone above and beyond with troubleshooting on this one. It’s so aggravating because they won’t even acknowledge that this is happening to so many people and have even claimed the issue has been fixed.

If they were just like yeah this is a big problem, we’re going to fix it, here’s some forzathon points or whatever as a gesture of goodwill and we will keep you guys updated, I wouldnt even be mad.

Good customer service does not mean ignoring problems and hoping people will just go away because they already have your money so sad day for you

Open or moderate Nat apparently isn’t the issue. I’ve had completed adventures on both Nat(two different ISP, one of which I can’t set Nat to open).

Perhaps regional information would be beneficial to the devs. I’m central US

Devs have all my info via tickets but for the record -
Eastern us
Xbox 1 x
Brand new Linksys router
Open Nat
Isp - spectrum

No issues with any other games or devices. My network is dialed in. I’ve gone so far out of my way to try to fix this but there’s nothing else that can be done on my end.

I don’t even know why I want to play this game anymore, single player gets stale in 20 mins and trying to go online makes me want to punch my console.

Just got disconnected again, right in the middle of forzathon, lost count on how many , it’s even worse then when i started playing this game,

And another one while changing cars, is there a compensation on the way?

Played for as much as I could today, everything is free roam was ok, but 4 out of 4 times trying to do Forzathon Live and it disconnected me every time. thats 240 points down the drain.

We’re aware of an issue with Quickplay Free For All Adventure in Forza Horizon 4. We’re working on a fix and will let you know when it’s live.

This game has been out over six months and has been updated eight times. It’s still full of bugs and the connectivity is probably worse than it was at the beginning. Yet all you seem to do is tell people “We’re working on it” or “Submit a ticket.”

Six months. You should give everyone their money back.

The symptoms I am seeing go beyond just Quickplay. They seem to affect all online activity, such as Forzathon Live, and sometimes I even see random disconnects in general free roam. Entering the Festival garage will typically invoke a session disconnect shortly afterwards. This is new behavior. It started only in the past week or so, but prior to the Series 8 client update. I have not tried Co-op Racing or Playground Games, but I suspect they cannot be completed with the current frequency of disconnects. No particular problems like this previously, apart from the known disconnect issue during Unranked qualification in Series 7.

This ^^^^^ +1 = Same for me and all my friends , not just quickplay but online activity overall.
