So I recently logged onto my Xbox One for the first time in a couple of months, only to find a copy of Forza Horizon 4 with all the extras (car pass, VIP, expansion pass, etc) waiting in the download cue. I do not remember preordering the game, and when I go to the Xbox store it doesn’t say it’s been purchased or anything. I downloaded and started up the game, and everything works as it would if I had bought the game. The only reason I could think of as for me to have been given the game for free is the fact that I fell victim to a glitch in Forza Motorsport 7 that caused me to lose my game save file. However, I got 200,000,000 credits from you on that game as a way to say sorry, so I didn’t expect more from you. Especially not a free copy of the next Forza game.
If this was a glitch in the system, I have no problems in deleting the game and buying it directly from the Microsoft store instead. If this was intentional, then I’d really like a copy of the game on PC as well. As said it doesn’t show up as if I have already purchased it on the Microsoft store meaning there’s no “download” button available, it kinda just showed up on my Xbox.
No, I’m pretty sure I have never shared this account with anyone or uploaded any videos using it. Also a quick update, my game deleted itself overnight and then started re-installing itself as soon as I turned it on. It says it’s updating, but it’s definitely re-installing the entire game.
Hey man, you’re not alone I got this as well. Just got a notification saying it had installed and then the same for a DLC shortly after. Really freaked me out I thought someone had brought it on my account but checked and there was nothing on my order history. Never really played forza other than horizon 1 on the 360 so i have no clue what caused this.
