[ANSWERED] nvidia geforce experience cant find the game when i scan for it

Why isn’t geforce experience not finding the game when i scan for it? i have the latest driver for it as well. 1060 6gb

Im wondering about this also, I checked the supported games and Forza 3 is there. However, Forza 7 is not, maybe they will include it in a new driver update.

Forza Horizon 3 is on the list but I don’t see Forza 7 there yet.

I think they will add it when it’s released on the 3rd.

The folder “C:\Program Files\WindowsApps” is hidden by default, if Nvidia GFE scans your harddrive, it probably won’t find it because it doesn’t have the neccesary file/folder permissions to scan the game folder.

After that, maybe Nvidia GFE will find your game.

Id id this a long time ago, but im sure they will add it at some time. they may be waiting on the next drive update. forza has some issues that need attention at the moment.

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> takeown /F "%ProgramFiles%
ERROR: The system cannot find the path specified.

How to continue? Also i have my games in E: drive.

I’m having the same problem, I have downloaded the latest drivers which include support for Project Cars 2 and Forza 7. GE force experience can see Horizon 3 and Project Cars 2 but not Forza 7, even after a re-boot. I would have thought that Horizon 3 and Forza 7 would be installed in the same location so if you can see one, you should be able to see the other.

New games are not always in GFE’s list right away. Forza Horizon 3 took months to be there

Would this be the same reason as to why the logitec racing wheel software cannot find a profile for FH3 or FM7? project cars 1 and 2 work fine with the software but it wont see any Forza, i have to use the default profile for the wheel.
