If I look to the help page within leagues there is standing that you can’t drop a Band if your reached a new one, unless you didn’t drove in a whole season.
I drove in every series (last weeks series 3, I drove 7 races). But today I dropped a Band after a race that brought my points below 0 of the Enthusiast Band. Back in the hell of Grassroots :(.
So the help description ingame about Leagues isn’t right on this point. Please fix the bug or adjust description.

We are working to update the text in the help section for Leagues. To clarify, players can drop down a band if they lose enough points.
naaahhhhh, we don’t like the drop down, this because FM7 has not the promised Penalty System.
All anyone does is intentionally drop down. Completely unbalanced with really fast people in the wrong divisions because they are afraid to move up and get stuck in a higher division where there are not any people. There are not any people because no one wants to get moved up. They just stop at the end. It’s ridiculous. It’s a circle that is not ending. This was a lot better when it was based on truskill only. Somehow Turn 10 you made it worse than it was in 6. Now it’s even more corner cutting and lobbies where 50% of the lobby quits after every single race. I don’t blame them for quitting cause who wants to start near the front with a bunch of cutters especially in the ghost and lose points to unchecked cheaters. Just nothing is done to stop the cutting in any way at all. Yea, awesome idea to show how far in a division you are to make it even easier to get dropped down on purpose. So no lobby can stay active very long and you get to do the same crappy for a league tracks like short VIR’s, Suzuka’s, Dubai’s and Yas Marina’s all the time. ALL THE TIME!!! That’s all I ever see. I want to do a full circuit not parts of them endlessly. Sick of doing the same tracks, just randomize the rotation list.
Disappointed, not fun at all. The ghost league was a great refuge from the wrecking but it is ruined in my opinion.
You are now the only major racing title with no penalties. It is time, get with the program already. People will still buy it, probably more. You lose some bad people ruining the game for the majority, that is all that will happen.
