Just done the Porsche seasonal championship, twinkle twinkle little porsche I think it’s called.
Me and one other player in stock 17 Panamera A767, all the other humans in various A800 cars.
Get a respectable 5th in the first race behind the faster cars, but ahead of the other Panamera.
Second race though he got well ahead of me and stayed ahead. It was only when the results card appeared that I realised he was now in an A800 Panamera.
Huh?
I didn’t think you could upgrade or even change cars in the middle of a co-op.
What’s going on with that?
I’ve never done a co-op championship before but if it’s anything at all like the single player, do you still get to pick a car at the beginning of each race? If so, if a person happens to have to of the same vehicle both with different tunes, couldn’t they just select the other one at the start of the next race?
No, with the co-ops you only get a chance to pick a car at the beginning of the championship. If you want to change car you need to quit and find a new championship session and begin again from race 1.
I wondering if this wasn’t actually an AI racing in the human team.
I just had the same thing happened. I narrowly beat a guy driving an old S2000 in a seasonal a co-op. I knew the next race was a tighter course where I excel, so I expected to beat him badly. However, he appeared in a different car. He was able to pick cars specialized each track. Still did beat him though but was wondering how to accomplish that trick.
