I got a news release in the game that basically said welcome to the anniversary. Nothing about updates.
Just waiting to find the bugs. They should give a gift of extra super wheelspins to the first person who finds the bug!

Added a number of stability improvements to reduce some instances of client crashes
confusing as the update release was from 4 days ago but it says updated 6 hours ago with still only one thing on the list. Still haven’t seen this in my update list yet though.
So the update was a new bug! How about them ginyusses at PGG 'ems smart fellers!

Oh, it was that one.
Pity it wasn’t one to fix the issue with the wheel that I’ve been wrestling with now for the past 4 days.
Well that would be nice if it actually works. But I’m not holding my breath. Just wish they would test stuff better before using the player base as the test bed.
Still not sure what this Hotfix is.

• Fanatec Clubsport Shifter SQ V1.5 - Input from the shifter is not registered
• Players using wheels are unable to navigate the Controls Mapping screen using the D-pad after creating a new Custom Layout
• There is no “Rev Engine” binding in the Upgrade Shop when using a wheel
• Xbox currently does not have a " sensitivity/wheel rotation angle" option
• Wheels - Issue causing steering wheels to pull to the right(2.23.22)
• Wheel - User is asked to save changes in Wheel Controls Settings regardless if changes were made
• Wheel - Clutch not recognized when mapping in Settings (Date Updated: 07.27.22)
• Inputs & Peripherals - Wheels - Chosen Input Mapping layout changes to wheel’s default after restarting the title on PC (9.14.22)
• Wheels - Performance - Players may experience gameplay and sound issues when wheels are connected. (Date Updated: 10.18.22)
Last one is the most relevant (though I’d love to have the Wheel Rotation Angle bit sorted as well)

It is rather ambiguous as to what it actually is or what issues it actually covers. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what got fixed and what got added.
I just hope they sort out the wheel issues. been stuck on a controller for the past 4 days and I find it impossible to use. Been using a wheel now for the past 5 years.
It seems to be a pretty big issue for most judging by the comments on the two threads above.

OK - so my game just crashed and threw me out for no reason.
Took the chance to search update menu - Lo and behold,
New Update - Listed as October 24th - Version Number :· Xbox One: 2.522.259.0 - Hotfix - 975 MB -
Restarting with controller for now just to be safe. I’ll maybe try a wheel once it reloads…
Nope - sound issues immediately. They disappeared again as soon as I unplugged the wheel. Controller now not working , press X then A to reconnect controller - thrown out of game again !!!
Yup! They fixed it alright. And they tested it too before they uploaded it.
And I have some beachfront property on an active volcano you can get real cheap!
No really, that’s more true than “the new update solved the problems”.

Somewhat surprisingly, no.
HotWheels plug-in not working. I can’t complete the weekly challenges without the two H/W events.
