Hi guys
Our next championship will be multi-class in LM Endurance Sprint style, so two championchips running simultaneously. You can either choose any LMP Endurance Prototype (PI P998) or any Modern GT car (PI R900). So the idea is for the faster guys to choose the LMP’s and those not yet always competing at the front to choose the Modern GT’s. Like in the Le Mans series both classes will run together, but only competing in their own class. This way we give all a chance to go for fame.
I will post further detail of rules, cars, tracks etc. soon.
Series will start on Thursday 10 November 2016 at 08:00 PM SA time (06:00 PM UK DST time) and will run over 6 weeks with qualify and two races per race night.
Please register by posting below and stating which of the two classes you would prefer to race in. Detail of cars and race numbers will be requested later.
Cheers
FA
Note : I’ve made the starting time a bit later than before to accommodate those that previously found it difficult to be on time due to work etc. We can still take or give a little on the starting time if I can find some form of majority preference.
All you have to do to register is post your GT in this thread.
Regularly have a look at this thread for the latest news and scoring.
RACE NIGHTS AND STARTING TIME
Racing will be on Thursday nights for 6 consecutive weeks. Qualify will start at 08:00 PM sharp with the races to follow immediately afterwards.
Starting time is 08:00 PM SAST [UTC/GMT + 2] [which is 1 hour ahead of London in the UK and 6 hours ahead of New York]
Lobby will be open 20 minutes before starting time with a short practice session for those that are interested.
To join the lobby - add myself [FA RACING 01] or AMR Paunchy to your friend list and then join from our GT.
RACE MODE
Qualify will be ghosted with fuel and tyre wear with 2 seconds delay between driver start and will be 15 minutes.
Races will be simulation with full damage.
Two races will take place on each racing night.
Grid order for the first race is based on qualify results whilst the second race will have a reverse grid order.
Minimum of one quick stop (some tracks 2) is mandatory.
Driver assists are allowed, except “braking assistance”
POINTS SCORING
Points will be awarded on a scale 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 with 1 additonal point for pole and 1 additional point for fastest lap time in each race.
A driver’s 10 best race results (out of 12) will count towards the Championship. This should help those experiencing occasional internet issues or have to miss a race night for whatever reason.
A race will only constitute a race if at least 50 % of the drivers entered for the evening have completed 50% of the scheduled laps.
A driver will only score points for a race if he completed at least 50% of the scheduled laps.
The AMR logo and your Race Number must appear clearly visible on your car. The AMR logo can be downloaded whilst the race number should be same as in previous championships. If it’s the first time you participate with us, state your preferred race number when you register.

Sign me up, however i will miss the first week due to being out of the country. Not sure what car yet… need to test some out, what was guys thinking for going for, newer LMP or some of the older ones?
Just to add - point scoring scale allows for two races (or one race night) to be scratched for all at the end of the championship to help those with internet issues or those who have to miss a race night for work or personal matters. So missing the first leg should not be too bad for you.
