Am I crazy for expecting a demo during E3?

Hi guyz

so, I think I would love a forza motorsport 6 demo on my xbox right after dan greenawalt, alan hartman & co setup the mood.

I might be crazy, but my “want” is based on “facts”:

  • Turn10 has consistently been a perfectly tuned studio regarding their output.
  • we have been getting demos of upcoming forza motorsport games, its not unheard.
  • that pic uploaded on twitter yesterday, I think it showed what should be Rio, in what should be the new GT, perfect candidate for demo (new track/cover car), running on what looked to be a regular xbox and not a dev kit(?)
  • that (by mistake) announced date in that big online retailer, that placed FM 6 release at september

now, add the fact that they released Porsche pack just a week before E3 show.
announcing “Porsche pack is available to download right now!” would be strong moment in E3 for racing fans, so why do it a week earlier? what can you do that has at least equal impact?

anyway, main point is I am very happy for forza 6, and this message is also a way to express my congratulations to turn10.
happy 10 year anniversary, hope you guys accomplish 10x as much in the next decade.
and even if you dont release a fm6 demo @e3 for me to play, its no harm done

*edit
demo or no demo, I DO hope that racing game channels milk dan and alan out! I want 100 hours worth of interviews on the spot!

There will probably be a playable demo at E3. Whether that comes to XBox Live is another matter.

Horizon has released demo’s but Motorsport usually doesn’t.

3 & 4 released a demo. But, they came just a few weeks before release. September if I remember correctly. Usually only one drivable car and one track.

FM3 and 4 both had demos a good few weeks before release, both of which consisted of five cars and the new fictional cover track for that edition. Camino Viejo in 3 and Bernese Alps in 4. If we are lucky and do get a demo, it will most likely consist of the 2016 Ford GT, four other cars and the fictional track for the current flavour.

Forza 2 had a huge 20 cars to try out on the Mugello circuit.

Forza 3 had 5 cars and the Camino Viejo circuit.

Forza 4 demo had 5 cars, the Bernese Alps circuit and also a stripped down rivals mode was available.

We’ve also had demo’s for both Horizon games so I’m pretty sure we will see a demo for Forza 6.

Either way, Demo or not I’m seriously hyped for this game

Its very unlikely and the only ones who know anything for certain work for T10, so for any demo news keep your eye on the weekly news articles.
