Am I being naive? What I mean is I noticed something interesting when car-shopping in Forza.

Here is what I saw, nice gold deep(ish) dish BBS-Style rims are on the Firebird GTA.

Well, why is that interesting? It’s because could Turn10 just lop off the Firebird center cap and or add a BBS center cap and make a nice set of these for us?

I mean, they already have the rim model, they would just need to make some slight adjustments. As for licensing I for one would be more than happy if they were put under a generic Forza brand rim.

So does anyone more educated than me on the matter have any input. Is this possible or am I just being naive?

Not being naive at all. Reminds me of the other rim models, with chrome lips, that when colored are fully in the color you choose even coloring the outer lip.

I miss disguising Welds as BBS Deep Dish’s. Also, you can’t even increase dish size based on tire width.

I was a little surprised when you couldn’t do separate spoke and lip colors, especially on the “Muli-piece” rims. I think though the licensing issues are what would get in the way for the ones you’re suggesting, since they are the stock rims from one car that (or other) manufactures may not want them to be put on other cars, with or without the center cap. Though despite the fact that there are actually fewer rim choices in 5 (no more Lorinser options for example) the fact that you can paint every one any color, including stock rims, helps a lot to make the selection more “usable”

Turn 10 is not a rims manufacturer, and must abide by the license agreements to use the products from the various companies in the game.
