This car has only been out for a few days and already I can see it’s overpowered when it’s BARELY tuned. By the time it’s tuned the most it can be it will be even more overpowered. I thought the Ferrari F50 and the 360 CS were a bit overpowered, but this car definitely takes the cake holy smokes overpowered by a long shot on the B and A class tracks…
do you mind giving me real world data on why the car is over powered rather than opinion?
All previous R class and P class drag times were absolutely destroyed by this car. Nothing else currently in the game can get close to the times that this car will do.
It does seem to be quite quick in circuit racing as well. I saw a few in A class races last night. I haven’t checked those leaderboards, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Alfas at the top.
I only got to play with it a while on Tuesday. Built it to the top of B-Class and it was a pretty good car but couldn’t get it around turns as good as some of my other B cars. It beat my old time on Road Atlanta fairly easy though. It’ll probably start to pop up a lot on tracks with a lot of straight to take advantage of. (If it hasn’t already, haven’t seen leaderboards since Tuesday)
With tuning it handles quite well. It just needs some work from stock tuning settings.
It will show up on various leaderboards but if it doesn’t something else will.
Just like in the real world some cars are straight up better than others, the Stradale just so happens to be one of those cars. Just like SatNiteEduardo said, if it’s not this car it’ll always be something else.
Yas Marina B class. Check the leaderboards. Haven’t bought any DLC cars yet…
no such thing as overpowered!
LOL, a CAR OP???
I have an idea take away 50 HP, 46 pounds of torque and make it an S class car… God, ffs look at what your saying…
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this or just me, but the new Alfa Romeo 33 has replaced the F50 for the under skilled or “try hard” A class players in forza. The car either seems too fast to catch, and most of all it seems to be the car that’s always knocking me off the track. By no means am I a slow racer. Top 500 driver with most of my times being in the top 200. That car has got annoying fast. So this car just adds to the list of overpowered and/or annoying cars that all the corner cutters or rammers seem to want to use along with the F50, KTM, caterham, and LP700.
I will say this though I did see a guy tonight that was running amazing times in the new mugen crx. I don’t know if that’s rare or not but it was really nice to see that.
My point behind this thread. When everyone started to hate on the F50 in A class races it seemed like they appear less in lobbies they went from 5 or 7 in a lobby at one time to 1 or 3 in a lobby. Now the Alfa Romeo 33 is showing up about 3 to 5 times in a lobby at the same time. I think the F50 got used less because people knew they were frowned upon in lobbies and now the Alfa 33 needs to be frowned upon. JUST IN A CLASS RACES not in forza itself.
The way I see it. Don’t drive cars that anyone can drive. Put some challenge into the equation and find a car you have a passion for and find a way to make it fast. For instance I have an LS1 swapped 1M that I’m in love with and didn’t rest at tuning until I could get it competitive. Also I have a ZR1 that runs 2:09:500s at Sebring. And a CTS V that has unbelievable acceleration and can corner almost as good as the 360 CS. I feel like people would get so much more satisfaction out if their cars and winning races with them when it’s a car not normally or not easily competitive in that car class. I feel like if everyone was on board with this concept we would have way more balanced lobbies with great competition., but as I said that’s just the way I see it. Completely opinionated so please save all your freak out replies asking me how I know that would be better for racing because I don’t. I just have a hunch.
Or you can use the same car or you can leave the lobby and find one that you like.
People paid for the game and the DLC so people choose how to play their game as long as they are not cheating, but for me it seems perfectly legit to use since its in the game.
The way I see it you should run whatever you want and disregard anyone who complains that you are in a car than they can’t beat. Everybody has the same two options: Use the car or leave the lobby.
But whatever you do, don’t let some smug top 200 driver diminish your ability to enjoy the game to protect his/her fragile ego!
Stop whining and buy the car pack.
I tuned it for unlimited drag as soon as I got it and haven’t lost yet. Working on my multiplayer medal achievements only 200 and 325 to go, car pack money well spent.
I don’t think people were shamed into not using the F50. What more likely happened is people started off racing what they saw as the top car on the leaderboard (the F50). Eventually they became bored and wanted to try something else, so you started seeing more variety of cars. Same thing will happen with the 33.
