Tuning should store the transmission type (manual, manual with clutch) for the car. The reason is that for cars like the Porsche 718 (cayman) that have both a manual and auto from the factory I like to create two tunings one for manual and one for the PDK, and set the appropriate gear ratios in those tunes respectively. The issue is I still manually have to go to settings to swap to manual with clutch if I want to use my Moza HGP shifter properly.
The wheel range is already a setting that is global but can be overridden here so shift type should be default to global but be able to be set to something specific per car.
naigon, how can I contact you as I have the HGP Moza shifter and I cant get it to work with the Forza premium my wheel is g29 logithech, can you help me with this please? my email is : shahram.tabatabai@gmail.com, my cell is (714)323-1169, you can text me or call me, whenever you have time I really appreciate that bro
Unfortunately you won’t be able to get the HGP shifter to work on XBox unless you are using a Moza wheel and have the shifter plugged into the wheel via the cat 5 cable, not the usb. Xbox only supports one controller per player so you cannot plug in an HGP to it directly.
I do highly recommend the R3 wheelbase and ESX wheel, that’s what I’m running and it all works together well.
