All drivatars choosing the same car!

Just played some races from the Festival Playlist in solo mode.
Have algorithm gone bust in some way? The grid was me and like five identical Zondas.
Historically there have only been one or two of each car right?

There are so many great cars in the game. I want to see and race as many of them as possible.

It’s a quirk of the game to do this sort of thing whether you’re online or not. If you upgrade a cult car to S1 class, the drivatars will all be in Jaguar XJSs. Sometimes you might get a couple of different cars. For example, in a recent seasonal championship, I drove the 1965 Ford Transit, but about half the drivatars were in Holden Sandmans (Sandmen?)

Actually, if I remember correctly, in race with the FE(?) Zonda, the drivatars are all in Zondas. It doesn’t matter whether it was in reality an ultra rare car like the Zonda Cinque. The game isn’t constrained by real-world numbers.

You could try using Horizon Blueprint to get the game to give you more variety or downgrade the car to a lower class (if possible).

As above, it depends what class you are running and what category. There was a recent seasonal using some sort of classic car and all 11 drivatars were in the same car.

However, sometimes it just happens…most of the van races, it usually ends up being 5-6 Sandmans or 5-6 Transit vans regardless of the class I pick.

It has been like this since the game came out and still hasn’t been fixed. You can somewhat fix this by not joining any clubs and not having a lot of friends on Xbox (I have only one). Then you will see a lot more variety but you’ll also get a lot of level 1 drivers (not sure if it affects their ability?). Annoying and I hope they fix it for FH5 (but really they should’ve done something about it in FH4 long time ago). When I play FH3 I see not only every opponent using a different car but also almost every car has a livery. This is missing in FH4 and the races look dull and lifeless, just an army of car clones with one or two cars having livery applied if you’re lucky.
