All AI cars driving the same type of cars in free roam

Since this is a festival celebrating all types of cars, why oh why is it that EVERY AI car you see in free roam is driving the same type of car as you? If I’m in a high end sports car, that’s all I see. No trucks, no low end cars.

If I’m in an exotic, I see no muscle cars or trucks.
If I’m in a muscle car, I see no exotics or trucks.
If I’m in a truck, I see no cars.

PLEASE mix up the cars seen in free roam. Seeing the same type of car takes me out of the experience, and I can’t be the only one. For anyone that hadn’t noticed yet, I bet you will now.

Random small note, the icon representing you on the mini map is huge! It makes it hard to gauge how far or close an upcoming turn is. With the game so new this is a big deal until we learn the roads. When I drive in any new game I get around at first by looking at the GPS in the mini map, and I’m trying to do that but keep turning short or over shooting. A very odd problem I admit but strangely noticeable.

  1. I’m assuming it’s so that whatever you’re driving, you’ll have the challenge of racing someone the same sort of level as you.

  2. I’m glad someone else bought this up, it’s an odd issue to have, but it is confusing. Especially when the map zooms in and out depending on speed. I’m finding myself slamming on the brakes… then having to accelerate as the corner is actually another few hundred metres!

In horizon 2 it was like that but after a while you’d see random cars as well
