What is the difference between current bonus and total bonus?
In my affinity section I have many manufacturers at 25 affinity. They all have total bonus of 25% and current bonus at 1. I have some that I’m working on that are below 25 that have varying levels of total bonus. The current bonus seems completely random. It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with number of cars, total bonus, current affinity, or anything else I can fathom.
Thank you for that. I didn’t see it in the thread. Your math appears to be right. However I still do not understand what the significance of the number is. Which number are you being paid at? And why bother to even show the other number at all if has no real meaning? Also you hit 25 total bonus well before level 25 affinity. I think 22 or 23. Shouldn’t current bonus be 0 then until 25? I realize I’m probably being dense but I just do not get the meaning behind this number.
Level 8 = 16% total 1 current
Level 7= 15% total 1 current
Level 6 = either 15 or14
Level5 = 14% total 2 current
meaning after level 6 current becomes 1 and does nothing for the rest of the affinity? Why is it meaningful?
The amount you get is the total bonus - it is the amount listed in the blue affinity level up notice and is in the credits at the end of each race.
The current bonus is the amount the total changed with the current level (as in you went up an affinity level and that increased the bonus by the amount listed - the most is 5%). There is a glitch though and the amounts are out of alignment slightly - I worked it out in this post.
