What is the "current bonus"?

Hey guys,

i googled it and it seems it was discussed in the old forums.
I don´t have access to these so here is my simple question.

It says:
I have total bonus of 15 % for Jaguar

and Current Bonus of 5 for Jaguar

So what is it?
I tried it yesterday and there seems to be no difference between,
meaning I didn´t get much more affinity as usuall.

A Multiplicator would be awesome to push manufactors
that you have negleted before.

I’ve read the legacy forums, but it still makes no sense to me. Can anyone explain this in layman’s terms?

The current bonus is the increase in the Manufacturer Bonus you get after each race since you last leveled up that manufacturers affinity - based on the bonus shown in the affinity menu, this figure is slightly inaccurate as it is based on the inaccurate bonus displayed in the affinity menu.

At a 15% bonus you are Actual Manufacturer Affinity level 5 for Jaguar, which is a current bonus of 0%, or an indicated level 6 which is a current bonus of 1%

Having said that - the bonus listed in the Affinity menu is not always correct, it is correct on the credit screen at the end of a race and when you climb a level the big blue noticfication has the correct amount as well.
I have been confirming the bonuses but have been away on holidays since before Christmas so still have some work to do on the list below:
