So today I hooked up my Logitech G920 wheel and pedals to my Xbox One S to play Forza Horizon 4. I wanted to change settings for the wheel like the deadzone for the brakes, the force feedback and the acceleration deadzone.
I adjusted my settings the same way I had them in Forza Horizon 3 but when I started driving I noticed there was no difference to the feel with the default setting (for example no matter how much I change the inside dead zone for the acceleration it would still accelerate the same as it did with default, same with outside acceleration dead zone, even if I set it low it won’t accelerate past 96.9%).
I’m not sure what the problem is, but even when I save the settings and they actually stay how I’ve set them, there’s not change in the actual gameplay.
[UPDATE] Okay it seems like only settings regarding the pedals aren’t working, like acceleration and deceleration dead zones are not changing when I change them but Force feedback does change. Thanks
The deadzone’s for accel and deccel have been broken since release and it seems they still aren’t fixed yet. I submitted a ticket very early on about this and they said they would resolve it and posit it in release notes/known issues, but i keep looking and cant see any mention of it in there…
Look I have faith in them fixing it they always seem to, so let’s not worry too much and just wait a while, I just wanted to see if I was the only one experiencing the problem.
Have you submitted a ticket as well? If not, it might be worth doing so, as the more people they have reporting the same problem, the more likely they are to priorities resolving it.
