Two more clicks to get to the weekly events because the reordered playlist. Just why?
Is this the way PGG try or not try to see things through the users eye?
I’m sure a lot of players get these ticked off on day one of the new season, so yeah, they were better off where they used to be. There are so many UI things like this that could be so much better if they actually played the game, as so much points to the fact they don’t.
They took the action to reorder the list so there must be reason for that, right? I challenge you to find any rational reason other than requiring players to click/scroll more often to artificially inflate their “player engagement” metrics, just like their curious inability to add cut scene skipping like hundreds of games have had for decades. They just don’t care about making a good game and respecting their customers, they seemingly only care about corporate numbers and their paycheck.
in the livestream they said: “we try to improve the playlist”
maybe there is reason behind this but I just don’t know
my idea of improvement would be like a simple sort where all finished events are moved to the end of list…
but anyway…
The Playlist was reordered in part because the Made in Mexico Story is new content for the game and we want to highlight that. The Hot Wheels events are still there but now placed at the end because not everyone will access or need them to complete the season.
what about to add a new content section in the front and keep the monthly section behind the weekly section?
Wouldn’t that mean no difference to your concern about getting to the weekly content first? And it would then split up the monthly-point-allotment events into two sections.
I often wonder whether the developers play their own game. I recall one of the monthly videos where they were talking about what they were playing (the developers). A couple were playing Elden Ring. None of them mentioned playing Horizon.
that means I understand the idea of putting new content first
ManteoMax, I do get the point about the “Made In Mexico” story but why are the “Forza EV” and “Monthly Rivals” events also moved to the front when these are only done ONCE per SEASON? They are by definition the least needed clicks, which is why they were quite rightfully at the end of the playlist prior to this puzzling change. Is there any way you could find out the exact reasoning for this specific change and share it with us? Because without an explanation we are left with the only one we can find: PGG artificially inflating engagement metrics even though it causes decreased QoL.
PGG being PGG, that’s probably the actual reason for this. Lmao
