a majority of us tag players want tag on the normal tracks, everyone comment who agrees they should add that back into the game, i am playing forza 6 and you still cant do it on regular tracks even in private match, if enough of us voice are opinion they might add it in.

All the people at turn ten and you guys couldn’t think of one other way to improve the virus experience. Maybe virus on the tracks. Virus in the rain?? Virus at NIGHT!!!
Virus at night would have been epic. Smash your headlights in a wall to hide yourself better. O well. Maybe FM7

First off, hats off to T10, so far I’m loving everything about the game. I’ve had no issues since I started playing this morning, the cars and tracks all feel exceptionally good, but I can’t help feeling really disappointed that tag is still limited to the airfield only.
I realize it’s a racing game and the focus should be on racing, and therefore probably not a big deal to a lot of you, but tag with friends in FM4 was hands down some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a video game. The same game mode in FM5 on the other hand was an utter disappointment by comparison, and while I was willing to write that off as something that simply didn’t make the cut under the launch title time constraints, I’m wondering why with all the great tracks available one of my favourite game modes isn’t playable on any of them. What gives? Am I just going to be stuck waiting for backwards compatibility to really enjoy tag again when all that seems is left to be done is to make the tracks available in the hoppers?
Once again, phenomenal game thus far and I realize this is fairly trivial in comparison to the usual launch day hiccups that need to be addressed first, but I’m really hoping this is something that will be addressed in the near future.

I’m pretty disappointed too. FM4 Virus was awesome, FM5 was meh, FH2 was ok and now we’re back to FM5. Did you change anything in FM6 tag? I hope you at least fixed the out of map glitches…
Rest of the game is pretty awesome though.

Agreed, I made a thread on the same subject a couple minutes ago and then realized there were already 2 other identical threads on the first page alone. Clearly I’m not the only one who was expecting FM4 virus and left severely disappointed. Surely it can’t be that difficult to implement.
I also agree the rest of the game has been great so far, so maybe someone this will be addressed in the future?

I can’t agree more with everyone here, the moment I had a chance to check if proper Tag Virus was back I was presented with the FM5 version… I absolutely love FM4 Tag and have missed it ever since.
I really hope it gets added back in soon in an update, there is a very big community that wants it to return.

First thing I checked this morning. Also the biggest disappointment after shelling out $100 in addition to FM5 a couple years ago… I truly don’t understand why Tag is restricted to the awful cubicle Airfield. The tracks were so much better and required driving and tuning skills to be good. But now it’s a giant and pointless free for all. And why does the it start with everyone?
I’m sad to say that this may be my last Forza game, been a fan since FM1… How much must one feature be requested across two games before it gets put back in?
I honestly hope it is an update away…

Gutted myself, hopefully it gets added in and they haven’t reserved this type of thing just for Horizon.
Many many hours of fun had playing tag on different tracks on FM4, used to be mayhem!
I LOVED tag in Forza 4. I agree it was some of the most fun I’ve had in a game. I created cars just for tag on tracks in Forza 4!

We need tracks back in tag asap! Thesame airfield from forza 5 is ridiculous… We need to get a petition going or something to get it back the way it was…

like how hard can it be for them to change the settings on their game to make it where tag can be played on normal race tracks, it cant be that hard, i mean even for private matches with just friends would be better then not at all.

How hard would it be to create your own private lobbies set up to play Tag/Virus on the tracks you wish while you wait for new Tag/Virus hoppers to be added?

Not a leak, I assure you.
What I mean is that if you want to talk to Turn 10, talk to them in the language they understand, data and numbers. If they see consistently night after night that there are several tag/virus lobbies set up to run on different tracks, that’s the sort of thing they take notice of and can influence the creation or adjustment of multiplayer lobbies. It’s not a guarantee by any means but it’s certainly better than random posts on the forums. Post your requests in the appropriate wishlists and use the game features to help yourselves out while you try to generate enough interest to get Turn 10’s attention and response.

Pretty hard actually, considering the preset within Tag/Virus only allows you pick from 4 airfield maps even in a private lobby and you can’t set up a custom race because the “Tag Rules” option is greyed out and permanently set to “No” at the moment.
edit: Unless I’m missing something obvious that is, but I’m looking through the private lobby game options right now and I’m not seeing a way.

for such an amazingly polished release of a Forza game, I too feel they overlooked a MAJOR area of the game.
Let me say why…
While I love racing games and 100% both Forza 5 and FH2, the majority of my friends got Forza 5 because it was a launch title. They are not racing sim enthusiasts. However, I am willing to bet that my group of 10 friends banked more time on airfield than any other group, ever. Most of my friends have less than 30 races completed in Forza 5, but are rank 500+ because we spent sooooo much time on tag, almost every night. And early in Forza 5, the rewards were terrible so it was difficult to save for more cars and gain XP.
I convinced 9 out of the 10 people in the group to buy the ultimate edition simply for early access to tag, only to find we could have saved $100 and kept playing Forza 5. I really hope they plan an update soon with more maps or include at the least the standard tracks. This is by far the best social experience on xbox. Just browse through my constant “xbox record that” videos over the last two years to see how serious we all are.
The game is great for me, but I feel the tag needs a major update and quick.

Why is tag Virus only on the test track and not on the race tracks like Forza 4 my opinion is this is junk. I used to live A class Tag Virus on the Hockingham Ring.

yeah i just saw the mod say that, and you cant make tag in private lobbies be on anything but airfield tracks and it sucks, they should atleast make it where we can use them in private matches.
