Add spectacular immersive experience with OpenTrack support for BeamEyeTracker, TobbiEyeTracker,

Hello FM Team,

Just before VR, all you need is a webcam/lite device to significantly enhance the gaming experience.
This would benefit all gamers with small screens, and not only.
I’m sure it doesn’t require much development and your other licenses (FM, FH) could benefit too.

Is it almost Christmas ?

Best regards.

Tried this on AMS2 and it’s an absolute game changer… think there’s a vjoy workaround to get look left and right working but I’m struggling to follow the guide I found on it. For any single screen players this would just be an easy way for anyone to enhance their experience with just a simple webcam or phone camera or whatever or head tracking equipment they use

Just want to bump this. I think this would be a great addition to the game. There are a lot of free and paid tools and since covid, most people have the required basic webcam.

I’ve tried a nmumber of differnt ways to get it to work in game and just can’t seem to get the right setup so that the opentrack > vjoy > forza camera works. It should be feasible, since the game already includes a sort of freelook in most camera views. You push the right stick forward and this lets you move the camera freely side to side. All we need to be able to do is map the output from vjoy or opentrack (or similar) to those axes. I can get forza to recognize the input from a vjoy fed with headtracking, but there isn’t a good option to bind it in the settings page. You have only Look Forward/Left/Right/Back as options. The free look function doesn’t seem to be mappable in the settings.

Yep, I’m stumped but I’ve seen it done by a YouTuber on this most recent FM so it’s definitely possible. I saw one guide that said you needed Vjoy, Open Track and joystick gremlin but it was kind of vague…

This with eye tracking would be amazing

I saw the same one but it was missing some critical instructions I think. It was confusing in any case. It seems like it should be fairly straightforward but I just can’t get it to work
