I think at least 1 new car from each series should be added to the autoshow. I really love the GR86 that is coming soon and would love to have multiple, but since it’ll be a rare car, i won’t get the chance to get another for cheap. Plus, there’s no reason to only have a set few number of cars in the whole game to be able to be collected with ease. More players will get access to more cars and thus I feel bring the community together - like a GT-R Nismo tuning community, 86-style community, quirky cars community (like the ‘40 Ford Wagon and both Morris Travelers), etc.
I agree 100% please pg do it:)

Please do this. I have trouble with the playlist because I am incredibly busy and other reasons.
I actually had a similar idea in mind, but instead of adding the returning vehicles into Autoshow/Forzathon shop/Wheelspins right away, I thought that if they REALLY need to feature them in the FPs, they could’ve at least done what they did with the map expansion cars, i.e. rather than giving us a single car, getting the right amount of points should unlock it for purchase in the Autoshow.
Initially I wanted this to include New-to-Forza cars as well but I figured out this would’ve pretty much defeated the purpose of Auction House…

Those two were gifts that’s why added to the autoshow. I agree with u about adding all rare n exclusive cars to autoshow but not now, after end of life…if they are added to autoshow now the fun of sniping from auction house will be lost!!
I think I can speak for many that grinding for cars we already had is not fun or rewarding and makes the game feel boring which is why the start of the games life was so slow and it’s repeating itself once again with this current underwhelming playlist.
My suggestion is simple and I think will be a great middle ground for the devs and the players so if theres nothing new to be added there is always something rather than forcing in old cars:
Add the old cars to the autoshow when they are ready for release and existed in another game beyond the Xbox 360 era but the twist is for these older cars create special editions of them to put in the playlist instead!
So instead of the Pagani Huayra maybe a Huayra FE or, if they are willing to push for a licence of a special edition of the car, instead of the CCX add the CCXR (though it existed in FH1 it did not exist in any Xbox One/Series X title so it is fine imo) to the playlist! Either of these and especially both of these will be great options so players don’t feel forced to play and those that do want to do the pkaylist will get a special version of the car in question!
the exorcist is part of a story reward it will take u less then an hour to get
Tbh some time i miss some cars in the festival Playlist and i dont get to unlock the cars, so if the developers pls can add them to the autoshow it would be great.
Not fair for the new player or or those who dont have time. The amount of unobtainable cars is overwhelming just shove all the recycled or returning cars to the autoshow
3 months ago, these Playlist cars were added to the Autoshow.
I could imagine if FH5 ends its life cycle and stops updating, then all Playlist reward cars including returning ones will be put straight to the Autoshow.
All returning cars should be put in the Autoshow instead of being now only accessible through the Backstage Pass or Playlist events. This also includes the Subaru SVX from Horizon 3 and the deformed Mitsubishi FTO from Motorsport 1-4.
I need to say this because it’s been bothering me since the announcement of the Horizon Backstage returning to FH5 - all, and I mean ALL returning cars from ALL previous Forza games need to be available to purchase through the Autoshow.
If we want to maintain consistency, with cars as unique as the Pagani Zonda Cinque, the Lamborghini Veneno, the Aston Martin DBR1, the Mercedes 300 SLR, and all the race cars which were only made as singular examples, being available in the Autoshow, it is only fair that any and all cars that have ever been present in any previous Forza game should be obtainable through the Autoshow. This includes both the likes of the Ford GTX1 or the Porsche Mission R, and the “utterly common” cars in comparison like the Renault Megane RS 250 or the Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R.
Things get even worse when we take a look at the current (as of the 24th of October 2024) list of cars available through the Backstage Pass. I will list all the returning cars and the games in which they were available via their respective Autoshows:
- Abarth 131: Forza Motorsport 3 (2009) DLC, Forza Motorsport 4 (2011), Forza Motorsport 5 (2013) DLC, Forza Horizon 2 (2014), Forza Motorsport 6 (2015), Forza Horizon 3 (2016), Forza Motorsport 7 (2017), Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
- Alfa Romeo 155 Q4: Forza Motorsport 4 (2011) DLC, Forza Motorsport 6 (2015), Forza Horizon 3 (2016), Forza Motorsport 7 (2017)
- Cadillac XTS Limousine: Forza Motorsport 6 (2015) DLC, Forza Motorsport 7 (2017)
- Ferrari 599 GTO: Forza Motorsport 4 (2011), Forza Motorsport 5 (2013), Forza Motorsport 6 (2015), Forza Horizon 3 (2016), Forza Motorsport 7 (2017), Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
- Ferrari 575M Maranello: Forza Motorsport 1 (2005!), Forza Motorsport 2 (2007!), Forza Motorsport 3 (2009!), Forza Motorsport 4 (2011), Forza Motorsport 5 (2013) DLC, Forza Horizon 2 (2014) DLC, Forza Motorsport 6 (2015), Forza Horizon 3 (2016), Forza Motorsport 7 (2017), Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
- Mercedes-Benz 280 SL: Forza Motorsport 6 (2015) DLC, Forza Horizon 3 (2016), Forza Motorsport 7 (2017)
Add to that, the Pagani Huayra BC and the Toyota AE86 are both part of the base game and can be unlocked through Wheelspins, which Playground Games has seemingly forgotten about. They would do just fine as Autoshow cars too, though the Huayra BC could be a perk unlock from the standard Huayra, which should also be available in the Autoshow.
Only TWO out of 10 cars currently available through Horizon Backstage are actually new-to-Forza for FH5, and these are the BMW M4 G82 and the Rivian R1S. That means there’s 80% of recycled cars!
The current Backstage addition voting consists of three returning cars and just one actually new car, in the form of the Citroen BX 4TC. Is it really that hard to just add all returning cars to the Autoshow at once, and return any spent Backstage Passes for cars that would be replaced?
I agree. It shouldn’t be an online-dependent system that is destined to be closed at a future date. I’m not saying that everything should be added to the auto show right away, but my hope is that they will all be added to the auto show eventually.
T10 and PGG will be adding unicorns to the auto show on a regular basis, and it will be their responsibility to eventually get them all on display at the auto show. On the other hand, not purchasing the DLC is at your own risk.
In FM7, all but one (1958 MG MGA Twin-Cam) were on display at the auto show.
But in FM4, new users can’t get unicorns like the S204 or CT230R. This is a very serious problem.
It sounds good to give preferential treatment to regular users, but it’s very foolish to close the door to new users.

From the Forza wiki.
They should make the unicorn cars available to all users offline.
Forza Horizon5 is now coming to PS5, It is not a problem. This spring, we can expect that a huge amount of players join Forza Festival but they don’t have a chance to acquire hard-to-find cars such as Delorean. Okay, now is the time. Put any all cars in Forza Horizon5 on the autoshow (or everyone’s garage).
In the last 4 weeks, 8 cars have been added to the Horizon Backstage. Out of these 8, 8 are cars that appeared in Forza Horizon 4, the previous game in the series. Out of these 8, 6 appeared in Horizon 4 at launch, and 6 were Autoshow cars. This is actually abysmal, why can’t these cars just be in the Autoshow of FH5?
