I have the same problem for months. Nothing works. I tune by myself, buy tunes from other, tried on new cars, old ones. I think that devs just don’t care. We have already paid for the game so they don’t bother.

I’m not sure, but I may have found how to fix it. I teleported to the Hot Wheels DLC, and another bugged accolade immediately completed. So I clipped on the Tinker Tuner, Road Racer and teleported back to Mexico. There was no reaction, but as soon as I changed the car (it was a Hoonigan RS 200), a tick appeared. I completed the race and both accolades were completed.

I completed 3 Horizon Arcade events. Only 1 of them showed up in the counters (when pinned) of the Five A Day accolade and Marathon accolade. Minutes later, the counter resets to zero. The counter reset seemingly at random, not at the 5 hour and 24 hour periods that they should.
I am playing on PC.
I recall when I did these when the game came out that you couldn’t use fast travel to get anywhere for the entire duration of your gameplay. If you did then the counter reset. You will need to drive to the next event.

I changed cars while I was in a Horizon Arcade area waiting for it to start and that also reset the counters.
This is a known bug almost since the beginning.

If this is the Tinker Tuner Road Racer and Tuned to Perfection under Road Racing, I can’t get them to work either. I’ve used made from scratch tunes as well as others, the first part of the accolade checkbox is never checked.
Seems to be an issue with the Accolades on H&S - “Tortoise & Hare”.
It says “Win a game of Hide & Seek as a Hider without going over 60 mph (95 km/h)” but I’ve definitely done this 2 or 3 times now (running in mph).
Could it be an issue with the settings ?
60 mph is 96.56064 km/h whereas 95 kmh is 59.03026 mph.
So do I actually have to stay under 59 mph ?
I keep a close eye on the speed when trying this but always looking to avoid the 60 mph.
Maybe I hit 59.04 mph without noticing ?
If so then they need to alter the description to 59 mph.

I am still getting this issue and it seems the latest Forzathon Challenge cannot be completed for similar reasons. 50,000 worth of upgrades must be purchased for the 1932 Ford De Luxe, but the game doesn’t recognise when you purchase them. The changes apply to the car, but it shows 0 as having been spent. Perhaps these bugs are linked.

January 30 2025 and i’m seeing this issue still as well. no matter what I do, the “car has custom tune” qualification never gets ticked. gamer tag is FischStix7703
I have all the cars, completed most accolades but like everyone here still can’t trigger the Tuned to Perfection… WT*!!!

According to Reddit, if you use the “Jump On It” emote, that will satisfy the requirements (for some reason)

HELP USSS ! the problem is still here ! i cannot also complete this accolades, but idk why and how the “tinker tuned road racer” is done, which is just complete a race. im sure i won that race, so idk whyy “tuned to perfection” isnt ticked…

Bug Info: I’ve completed the Series Business accolade requirements (all pr stunts in a series). Pinning the accolade shows a checkmark on the driving screen. The accolade remains unchecked on the accolade screen.

Attempted fixes: restarted, pinned the achievement while completing a pr stunt for the series

edit: also applies to the seven day wonder accolade, except it’s not being “checked” on the driving screen. as shown in the video, I had all available points for that one series, so I did all the daily challenges for that series too.
