About wheel support

Hi.

i want to know that is there any possibility that forza 6 apex and forza horizon 3 can support osw(open sim wheel) ioni or osw argon in windows 10.

actually now i am making plan to buy wheel sets. so if forza 6 and forza horizon 3 can support osw wheel, i will buy osw. if not, i will buy fanatec wheel set.

the reason that i ask this is that i see a lot of issue of fanatec v2 base in youtube.

thank you.

We have been waiting over 2 months since the release of apex to find out when Forza Apex will have wheel support, what that wheel support will be nobody really knows as it has not been specified.

My guess it that it is rather low on their list of priorities as they figure most people will play with a controller or keyboard, Since it is low on their priority given they have not added it yet I would not count on wheel support for a lot of wheels as it may be very limited. They may surprise us but I would not gamble on it.

It´s either a low priority, or they´re putting in some more hours of development to get it right. I surely hope for that latter, but seeing the lack of news on this front it might be bad.

If this is how they treat their entry in the PC market, then I fear for the future of the series.

We´ll see.

Do you guys think a Thrustmaster t300rs or a wheel that works for ps4 or pc will work on Forza Apex or Forza Horizon 3?

With the new Windows 10 anniversary update that launched august 2nd, they allowed for UWP game developers to use G25/27/29/920 and momo from logitech. T300rs/500rs/T150/TX and TMX from thrustmaster, and finally CSR / hid mode for xbox one from Fanatec. Its all a matter of developers implementing it into the games. I’m just waiting for wheel support myself. I have a Thrustmaster T150 at the moment with a Basherboards CPX adaptor to use my Fanatec CSR Elite pedals with it. I am upgrading my Wheel next month to either a T300 or TX wheel and I am waiting to see what wheels Turn 10 will support before changing wheel.

doi have a chance that the Trustmaster T100 will by supported too?

I wanted a direct drive wheel but went with the Clubsport v2 wheel, CSP v2 pedals I already had, and a Clubsport Shifter in the meantime so I could play on Xbox one also. I wouldn’t worry too much about having an issue with it. I had a small issue with my wheel base after a couple of months but it was taken care of swiftly and without hassle. I haven’t had any other issues since then. If I could go back and do it differently I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s an amazing setup. I don’t want to sound like I’m dogging the Thrustmaster TX because it was a great wheel on PC but as far as Forza goes the Clubsport is just on a whole other level. There is no FFB weakness at center or that strange pull when turning that the TX had. The FFB feels MUCH better and has no center deadzone. Going by what I had read online I wasn’t expecting a major difference but it is. It feels like it has much higher precision giving you better control especially in Forza games on Xbox.
