Wow, dude you have a signed copy of fm2… so jelly. I’m in the same boat, I have every forza made, the only games I have never traded in. But I want the ultimate Ed.
Yeah that was “pure luck” scenario. I just happen to be picked to help with that year’s Child’s Play. I forget what my final bid was on it. I do remember I was worried I lost the bid on it because I couldn’t get back to it before the sheets were picked up. Then I found out I won

You aren’t the only one. I hopped on the Forza train in 2010 and have FM4, FH, amd FM5 LCEs. It would’ve been nice to add to the collection, but it is what it is…

Not sure what thinking led to this decision by MS/Turn 10, mebbe trying to wean peeps off of discs? Try to forcefully fast-forward an entirely digital age? Guess I’m a dinosaur, cuz “collector’s edition” 4 me means I can collect it. Like, in my hand; sumthin on a hard drive just doesn’t do it 4 me =/
I have every LCE since FM3 but was waiting to see what digital copies were going to be available. I considered buying a physical disk but decided the advantage of not needing to swap discs in the xbox outweighed having a collectors box on a shelf. Got to move with the times.
Going to get the Ultimate so it will be ready on the day!
But you’re paying 5 extra bucks getting the ultmate edition… Just buy it all seperately, you can prepurchase all that stuff. Or get the deluxe edition and the car pass seperately.
Don’t you get $10 off the game, $10 off the VIP (if you’re a F5 VIP), and then $25 for the car pass? = $85 vs. $89 I think that’s what he’s saying.
I’m beyond bummed about no LCE for FH2 and am very disappointed in DP. I considered cancelling both of my FH2 pre-orders, but I got too good a deal on them. So, I’m just going to try and figure out my best options and keep venting (read bitching) to the folks at DP about how much garbage this is.

Eventually i’ll buy some extras by DLC but…not sure, not like virtual things…i’m old style
The closest we will get is the Day One Edition for XB1. I have had that preordered and just plan keeping that and purchasing the other digital content (VIP, Car Pass, etc.) digitally.
I’m a musician, I started out back when everyone had vinyl. I remember when CD’s came out. I have bought several of the same album on four different media formats in my lifetime. Just the way it goes I guess.
I used to be very attached to buying physical copies of games, especially those I invest a lot of time in. That’s a-changin’ as we speak.
Horizon 2 represents the first game I have ever bought and paid for a full two weeks before it came out. The Ultimate Edition seems to offer nothing special besides the DLC and VIP bundled in with it. I got it but man, 90 bucks for a game I can’t play for two weeks has me questioning my own intelligence.
Even though I’m not buying this game, time to move on. FM5 LCE was the last physical copy of a game I will ever buy. I love not having to put the disc in my Xbox One. Plus I got a 4TB external hdd. My internet is decent, I can download any game while I’m at work & is fully installed by the time I get home.
I still have all 5 Forza Motorsport games (LCE 2 thru 5).
