Yea that’s all I could find about it. Sometimes search doesn’t show everything if you don’t type it the right way seems like. Just figured I’d ask. Thanks again.

I do not feel that Turn 10 “lied” (ie: intended to deceive) with any of these undelivered items, they probably had high confidence in delivery at the time they wrote the article. Sometimes things take longer to create/deliver than originally anticipated, for a multitude of reasons.
It would have been nice to get more transparency later on in the year on if the team felt they were going to slip on a few dates, or even have some sort of footnote disclaimer to that effect on the blog itself, but maybe their comms team can take that as a learning for the next set of promises.
I don’t know how/if players can verify those items since they haven’t (yet) seemed to have much (if any) impact in-game.
Im honestly surpised we didnt get an end of the year/4th quarter blog post. It would have been a good way to send off the year of things they accomplished and added while giving us an outlook of whats to come in the coming months plus giving us an update on what they said was coming “end of the year”. Still nothing…but oh well. Lets see what happens in update 16 next week
The next message should come this month. Last year, the January community message was released 9th, 2024.
I think sometime between 3rd to 5th, we’ll get the blog post.
I won’t criticise them too much for not being able to get everything done in time, but it was very poor form of them not to bring up the subject of adding back races to career at all.
They have a very strange idea of quarterly:
January
May
August
Feels more like “third-ly”.
Later this year, we will add select series and rewards from previous updates as permanent additions to the Builders Cup…
Why did you say you would bring back the fomo content and then not do it
This was an absolute let down to be honest.
I booted up after the last update just incase events were added but not included in the notes, then of course saw zero change.
I imagine the events are all still in the game files as are the reward cars so it’s extremely disappointing.
Bummed I missed the sesto elemento and others, why haven’t they added these back yet, NO ONE likes the fomo content of the game already lacking single player content.
This is why we can’t have nice things. We asked for more communication on the features being worked on, and this is the kind of comment that encourages them to not communicate anymore.
They didn’t make a tentative deadline. It’s not a big deal.
It could be a delay.
Let’s hope so. The game has been out for 1 year and 2 months now but barely any significant content has been added. It’s still a bare bones single player, hundreds of cars from other Motorsport and Horizon games missing, poor car models from FM1 and FM2 etc. And this is supposed to be THE AAA racing title for Xbox.
they gave a deadline they said later in the year the year has ended
and as far as i know they haven’t said anything more other than vague statements. they hardly communicate anyway it is a big deal because they are drip feeding old content claiming its new and then removing it in a game that has hardly any content to begin with
They did say “Later this year, we will add select series and rewards from previous updates as permanent additions to the Builders Cup”
As I said in another thread, I can understand delays and so on, but there’s been zero mention of it since.
NO to recycling old races from previous months!
It’s still the loyal players who will pay the price (I think we’ve already had enough of that given the state of the game when it was released). Or give them the vehicles from the old months for money like for the vehicle levels for those who don’t want to grind the vehicle levels.
On the other hand, yes to NEW INEDIE content in the story mode.
As if we’d have more nice things if we praise them more for not communicating & not delivering.
All the old tours need to come back
