I don’t know if I am missing something but this car does not have a traditional rear view mirror. Instead, it has a rear view camera and a monitor on the dash. Well, the cockpit has the monitor…but, as far as I can tell (after racing with it for hours on end), the screen is gray, and only gray. So unless you camera pivot to the rear, (a direct 180 degree), you have no clue what’s to the rear. The entire point of the monitor is to act as rear view mirror, but clearly it is not operating. I don’t know if this is a glitch or just an overlook, but it needs to be corrected. There’s only a few cars in the game with a 100% all the time active rear view monitor, but that does not abrogate Turn 10 from the duty to represent the car correctly.
Additionally, while minor, the 2005 M3 cockpit has a VERY blurry instrument panel. I mean, I can see the needle, and I see yellow and red on the tach, but I’d still like a little more clarity on the panel itself. This is evident given the absolute clarity on the rest of the dash. The rest of the interior is immaculate.
Hej folks, I know, this posting is over a year ago now, but does anyone know, if this issue has been taken care of in any kind?
I noticed the Nissan IDx also having a mirror-monitor not working at all and therefore no rear view other than the y button on the xbox.
AND there are some cars with the side-mirror just a little bit outside the view - and as I am playing with a thrustmaster wheel there is no way to look left/right, as this option is only available with the controller-stick.
Are these mirror-issues just glitches/bugs not addressed? Will they ever be fixed? I mean, this game is out for just some time now and a rear view mirror is not unimportant, at least in my humble opinion…
But the again maybe I just missed something in the settings?
