80% the playlist in single player?

Which part of you did get what you paid for did you miss also
Also says multiplayer as well
Doesnt say you will get everything released either
Sounds like you dont buy too many games if you think that way
Most have addons that you either need to pay for or earn ingame…
And most likely there will be more ways in the future to obtain these cars…usually there is…or like in fm7 after about 18 months will get added into the autoshow…even though it wasnt done in fh3
Guessing you havent bought any Forza games in the past otherwise you would already know

I’m not getting anywhere with you guys. No point in trying to discuss something with a brick wall, so just forget about it.

Last thing I’ll say is I don’t underatand how you guys can let yourselves be treated the way you do by this company. If you spend over $100 on a game, don’t you expect to have everything in said game made available to you in a fair and reasonable manor? If you’re fine with being seen as just another dollar sign, more power to you, I guess. Seems like a lot of you have more money than sense anyway.

smh

Nope when i pay a price for a game i expect to get what it describes in the description
Not things that get added later on
These forzathons do seem to be in a fair and reasonable manor…playing the game
I guess you would rather pay for new stuff than just earn it in game

You got everything you have paid but somehow feel entitled to everything that gets added

As mentioned several times now…you now only need 50% to get the “new” stuff …the rewards for 80% are already available elsewhere in the game…offline as well

Good chance you will eventually get the exclusive cars through the Forzathon Shop in the future. Just have to wait. I don’t bother much with the online stuff, other than free roam online and few races online. I just strive for the 50% knowing someday the other car will be in the Forzathon Shop.

Just saying this doesn’t actually make it true. The Forzathon Shop has been filled week after week with cars that you can already buy for credits.

You don’t have to wait for that. The 80% cars are ALREADY available in the Autoshow. I don’t know why this is so hard to understand. You get the EXCLUSIVE content at 50%. The 80% content is already available in the game.

The '65 Pontiac GTO is available somewhere? I check the auction every day and haven’t seen it once.
To the OP, I can understand being disgruntled about cool cars out of reach at 80%. I’ve never reached 80% either, but… I spend my FH4 time racing and not fretting over the prizes. The fun is in the racing. The more you race, the more wheel spins, the more chances for the cool cars.

The GTO and the Capri were from the 1st Playlist and you are right about those. the rules have since been changed and the Exclusives are NOW at 50%, problem solved.

And you’re basing this conclusion on a sample size of… how many series, exactly?

Based on them specifically saying it in the update stream last month.

Crown Vic, which is the current 80% car, and the Capri FE from last week are both cars that are not in the auto show.

Seasonal 80% cars are in the auto show yes, but not overall playlist 80% completion cars.

That isn’t true either. Both the Falcon last week and the Jeep this week are not available in the auto show.

True. But who doesn’t have a pile of Falcons by now?

For that matter, who doesn’t have an equally deep pile of Giulias by now?

I have two Guilias and 0 Falcons. I"ve seen it once in the wheelspin, I didn’t get it last week due to not having 700 FP. I’m sure many newer players don’t have a pile of the exclusive cars either.

Let me just clear things up a bit. I don’t have Xbox Gold Live.

I have the Capri FE
I have two Crown Victoria
I have the Ferrari FXX E
I have a Boneshaker
I have the Falcon

The Lykan is in the Auction.

I don’t see the problem.

At least I am basing it on reality. Will it change, who knows with these dev’s? But I am not going to wring my hands and piss and moan until it does. Well maybe not piss and moan as there is way to much of that here. I prefer the do what I want in the game and not do what I don’t.

Just a number answer, please?

You’re basing it on too few a number, the Forzathon shop does the same… sometimes cars in the auction, sometimes not.

I wouldn’t say the problem is truly solved by the change to put new cars at 50% instead of 80%, as the previously available vehicles are not going to be counted as new exclusives, and have a good chance to show up at the 80% tier again in the future (or in the Forzathon shop for an absurd number of FP).

Problem solved going forward

Just have to wait till the previous ones are made available again
Just like in fh3…but apparently that was perfect and never had this issue…short memory

Going forwards, yes the main problem of multiplayer being required has been addressed for the time being so that newly-added cars will be obtainable for those without gold, at least so long as the devs don’t change things up again to try to increase player engagement. Still doesn’t address the availability problem of previously available time-gated cars that players missed though.

FH3 wasn’t anywhere near perfect and very much had (and still has) this issue, and I pointed it out at that time as well. The vehicles did come back around eventually (some of them took over a year though, and there was a huge discrepancy in availability with some vehicles being offered again and again, but others were only ever offered two or three times), but now they’re all permanently unavailable despite the game still being for sale, so the devs really dropped the ball there as well (and doesn’t give me much confidence in how they’ll handle exclusive vehicles long-term in FH4 either).
