Yes please let us take the roof down. I see no reason why we cant do this… also how do i open a support ticket to send to them?

Go to support.forzamotorsport.net and just search around the site until you can find a “Submit a ticket” option
It’s a good thing that it has a roof, the interior of the cars in this game are a pixelated, blocky mess while roaming around in the game world. I could understand the graphics being downgraded while playing online but when you’re playing solo…no excuse.

I agree to some extent but hopefully they will add an option for the roof in the future though I highly doubt it.

Create ONE convertible car, but instead of making it… convertible, just sell two versions of it !

… this is one of my biggest complaints in the game. you have a bunch of cars that are Roadsters, Spyders, T-Tops, Verts, etc., and none of them have the option to remove the top!
here’s a list of some cars i want to have removable tops:
- Alfa Romeo 4C
- Chevy Corvette Z06
- Honda S2000
- Koenigsegg Agera RS
- Koenigsegg Regera
- Lotus Elise
- Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster
- Pontiac Trans Am
- Porsche 918 Spyder
… would also love to see the Roadster versions of the Lamborghini Aventador SV, Centenario, and Veneno.
Not sure who deserves the demotion first. The guy who thought of the idea or the one who approved it

I’m not even going to bother to be upset at this.
I’ll go a step further and say what I’m more upset about is that we got a 5 year old car in the 650s when we SHOULD have gotten the 675 LT Spider. Just another thing that will never ever make sense to me.
I’m convinced that Playground Games are just a bunch of pro level trolls who are laughing in their cubicles seeing how much money they can suck from their community for terrible content.

See I love the i8 roadster and lambo convertible. Because the tops are down! Thats what they are meant for. Just different enough as to where I like it. But the maclaren? Come on… You could have at least taken the roof off. I would love to be able to take the roofs down as I please, weather its in the actual game or in the upgrade menu, but that wont happen. So at least give us the top down like you did with the I8?

As I stated above, I’m convinced PGG is trolling us and just seeing how much money they can squeeze out of us with as little effort on their side as possible. This game gets more frustrating by the day. Even fixes or new additions they implement are frustrating simply because they don’t go far enough. Take the advanced paint for example. The idea is amazing, but it’s not good enough.
At this point I am going to make a ticket requesting my money back for this car portion of the car pass. It’s totally ridiculous that we got the same car we already have in game as part of a car pass.

I also don’t like how PG have given us basically a duplicate of a car that we have, but you do understand that you bought the pass, not knowing what the contents were, right?

I’m convinced, that you’re one of the many players who can’t be satisfied with the game, no matter what PG does, in terms of content updates/DLC, fixes, new features, etc. And speaking of ridiculous, it’s ridiculous to think that you believe, that you’ll get “money back for this portion of the car pass”, which would be like…$2.99 for this one car. Are you seriously that upset about this?

I’m actually currently playing the game as we speak, so their are aspects of the game I’ll deal with. But I’m not sure why you’re against pushing this team to be better and give us what we deserve. You’re actually insane if you believe giving us another 650 as a car pass car is acceptable.
Let me ask you, what has PG given us since release that should make me happy? I’m all ears. Advanced wheel paint? Yep, great. That should have been given to us years ago though.
Stop being a Forza fanboy. It’s ok to be upset with this development team for making an average game when we expect great.
My final word and after that I rest my case;
I enjoy the game, I like the physics on my G920, I love the map and I’m satisfied with most of the cars (I keep in mind T10/PG have to satisfy a lot of different petrol-heads, so that’s ok). I think the problems with for example multiplayer, sound, bugs ect., will be fixed in future updates.
A bit sloppy but acceptable.
The thing I don’t like this the way they threat their most loyal fans; Car pass owners, ultimate addition owners ect. The signal they give to people who pay extra money for exclusive content.
Let me be clear, I buy the carpass on my own risk, if there are cars in there i don’t like, I don’t blame T10/PG. Their will be other forza fans who will enjoy them.
However, the fixed roof 650s spider thing is a way of saying that the devs don’t give a damm about the people that are most loyal to their game.
That is the reason, I asked that i am genuinely interested about the philosophy behind this strategy?
My guess is we will never know the awnser to this question…
Lol we got got, paid R1550 for a new map basically. Reused wheels and dlc cars with “convertible roofs”. Nice going

I remember the “good old days” of Test Drive Unlimited 2 where you could raise or lower the roof of convertible cars whilst out driving. I agree that the 650 Spyder is pretty pointless at the moment.

I think everyone can agree this is the ideal implementation. Who else would give up the ‘Anna’ button for convertible functions?

Exactly, Atari and Eden Games could do it in TDU2 that was released in 2011, 7 years ago! Why is it so difficult for Playground to do it now, in 2018, especially that they have the animations already? The function and animation is here, just assign the button to do so outside of Forzavista.
