2015 Indycars

Finally won a Honda Indycar in the prize spin. Was dissapointed to find out all the Indycars only have the road course bodywork. I went into customize but the only thing you can change is the wheels. I really thought it was cool how in Forza 5 you could change the front and rear wings and the side pods to the oval configuration. Worse yet is the Indy cars are clearly modelled off the oval body kit as they do over 225 MPH. They would never get near that speed with all the downforce of the road course body kits.

While Forza 6 is a better game then its predecessor I’m starting to get annoyed by all the shortcuts Turn 10 has taken. This could have been an amazing game but it’s only a great game.

I agree that there seems to be many minor touches and small infractions that are disappointing to say the least. It seems like this installment is lacking the level of polish that was previously a staple of the franchise.

Sad Truth :,( no telling what Fm7 will be lol

I think may be because the Oval Aero Package were finalised a fair bit later. Turn 10 wouldn’t have had enough time to model the Oval Packages.

That’s a good point. The Honda front wings they are running in the game were only run pre-Indy 500. They ran a different road course/short oval front wing after the month of may.

Then how was it in the previous game?

As far as everyone moaning about Auction House, that was removed for legitimate and very clearly stated reasons and it will not be returning.

Other features missing have been removed in a subtle attempt or with no indication as to the reasoning by Turn 10.

As for the Indy Car, they probably modeled one Indy Car, then replicated the designs, put them on the car, and finally saved it as a separate car. The one Indy Car they modeled happened to have the current bodywork an that is what we get. At this point I direct you to the first sentence above and the loop begins again…

Hey, at least you get to race the Indy Cars and Open wheel cars, right? You also can’t see the bodywork in cockpit view…

The Chevy Indy cars have the areo options you are looking for.

Thanks. So must be that the Honda oval kits weren’t ready.
