Can someone please tell me if the leaderboards for the “North by Northwest” rivals are updating correctly? I cannot get it to display near me, and it seems that no one on my friends list or in More Oven has done it which cannot be correct.
I doubt it’s right because if it is, I have the number 1 spot and that’s never happened before - ever - in anything in any Forza title, but I guess it would be nice while it lasts.

I noticed this a few days back. I think the track itself is broken and they froze the leaderboards intentionally. You can take some RIDICULOUS shortcuts, even crazier than normal for an FH showcase.
Hmm that would make sense. I beat what is the number 1 time by at least 5.5 seconds.
My second time doing the rivals event, I took a line so that hitting the last checkpoint before the finish I brushed by the building onto a forest trail, slam the brakes hard and make a left onto the perpendicular forest trail missing all the trees and coming out on the road right before the finish. That was easily the biggest shortcut on the course.
That said, if they didn’t want people to cut through there, the course should include barricades and/or a checkpoint or two following the road between the last checkpoint and finish. Since it was designed without it, the general Forza Horizon 2 principals should apply. No checkpoint, no barricade, anything goes!
My time was a 2.21.### by the way.
