Hi folks,
A quick update on today’s CU. This content update addresses two issues: the “free car glitch” that has been well documented here as well as an issue on Lime Rock where players could cut a certain portion of the track to gain an unfair advantage without it “dirtying” their lap. To coincide with the Lime Rock fix, we will be wiping all leaderboard times on Lime Rock South Chicane and Lime Rock Full Alt circuits.

Any chance you could do a similar fix for Indianapolis? The GP track has no fewer than 4 corners that you just have to cut if you want to make the top of the leaderboard.

Please Turn 10 have a look to this issue too. You can almost completely cut the first turn without making the lap dirty.
It would be great if you put a solid tire bundle there to avoid the cheaters cut it, otherwise people can gain an unfair advantage by cutting this turn.

When are you guys gonna fix the codes for the wheel users? Everyone can agree that you have rendered our wheels useless bcus the FFB is broken and that limits us to only 270 degrees of rotation… I want to use the full 900 degrees but it’s impossible to race in because the FFB is irresponsible. Please fix.
Ummm dont say everyone because my thrustmaster tx is set up awesome and I love it…Centering is great… Works spot on for me…
Oh I forgot to mention that I mainly do drifting. FFB is crucial for wheel drifters. If you’re just a regular racer then I guess your wheel would work just fine. Especially if you’re running 270 degrees. It is a fact that FFB is broken at 900 degrees. If you guys don’t believe, the. Try it yourself. Very frustrating. Would rather play assetto corsa to drift. Now I just play forza for career mode and league multiplayer.
Unfortunately, my TX wheel is still losing its tight FFB feel and VIBRATION after a few races, so I either go to Controller/Wheel section and hit A to somehow reset back to good FFB and VIB or unplug the wheel and quickly reconfigure in the multiplayer lobby in between races to get it working fine again.
I know the Oct. patch did resolve the controller and wheel conflict/reassigning button function, but the problem mentioned above is still there - mentioned in other posts. I don’t understand why going to the Controller wheel section and pressing A fixes it, but it does. This needs to be fixed because my friend has the same issue he has a newer TX wheel he bought recently, while my TX was bought when FM5, so its not the wheel at issue, but certainly a software bug (memory overflow corruption?).

+1 This gives me hope that we won’t be waiting for CUs each month with the new DLC but instead could possibly get them whenever.
May not be the right place to post this, but the Bentley Speed 8 in the rain thing still isn’t even fixed.
Don’t wipe ALL times please as there are a lot of legit times on those tracks.
If they’re legit and the racers are capable of setting those times legitimately then they should have no problem doing it again, right? Sadly, when a few start to take advantage of the system and many follow, everyone gets punished on the leaderboards, it sucks.

(also, my TX is plenty usable. Certainly not perfect but I’m able to race with it, advance through career, and be competitive with my controller wielding friends.)

I was able to cut through two sets of tire walls in indianapolis and still have a clean lap 
also I could cut in many other corners. check C class leaderboard for direct examples of corners need tightening up

I smashed M.Rossi so hard into a wall on the Nurburgring endurance race just to pass him, he flipped upside down. He was 500-1000 feet ahead of me and we were 3k ahead of everyone else on the expert difficulty. I usually play on Pro or Unbeatable but the showcase events are ridiculous. Got to lap 5of8 and the update kicked in and kicked me out. So mad, but at least I know my plan of attack next go around. Hopefully they balance the AI drivatars soon.
It is REALLY nice that you posted this info for us! I have been asking for better communication from Turn 10 for a bit now and it is Great to see the posts. Now to those who feel the need to post there " when are you going to fix this " issues, there is a thread for this and that us where it should be posted. The last thing I want to see is Turn 10 stop the communication they are giving us, so please post in the proper thread. I am not saying there are not issues to ask about but they belong in the proper thread please
