Yet another case of cars being shown that aren't actually in the game

Well @TheWarmWind76 , first off I don’t play online. Second, most of my wheelspins are about 2,000 to 15,000 credits. I also have the vip and all the add ons (except for the new ones). The way I have to do things is very different from everyone else because I can’t play half the playlist. Also, I don’t get to play fh5 as much as most people do. I played it for about 30 minutes last night for the first time about a week because I am so busy and just didn’t have the desire to play.

I’ve bought more of those $500,000 FD RTR Mustangs than I want to admit…lol.

Once I reach 20 million I’ll usually buy a Hard-to-Find car that I don’t own. So I usually don’t have more than that at a time.

Well not having the time or the desire is very understandable.

We very rarely play online except with each other and the trial. The most casual player has never played more than once a week and has taken a month off a handful of times. No VIP. We do get free access to online modes like the trial though thanks to being on PC.

He does the to complete most of the playlist though when he does play, which usually means 3 super-wheelspins plus some regular wheelspins per week he plays, and he does sell cars on the auction house, which can net you a shocking amount of money.

Still not sure that’s enough to bridge the gap. Last I heard he’s got 140 million.

I guess we did also do a transfer of credits where I was just buying out cars he didn’t want at max price on the auction house once. The most expensive one was bought out before I could get to it, which was cool with me. That was back in the early days though, when I had around 60 mil and he had 700k. Ended up giving him 5 to 7 mil I think?

I just feel like I’m missing something here. From my perspective, the game just heaps rewards on. I’d gladly gift credits over cars at this point.

They would need permission to use the image though I wouldn’t assume this means the full licensing to have the car in the game. It’s very possible they had all of the Hoonigan cars licensed from the beginning and just add them when they have planned. From a business perspective I would want to have things locked in regarding licensing before planning on adding them. Can’t speak for everyone on that though.

Likewise, I must be at 750 million credits. I think most of that fortune was made at the beginning, the wheels were particularly nice.
Then the wheels kept falling off, sometimes cars on resale that were worth several million direct. Not to mention the exclusive rewards that come back from time to time, and as I’ve already got my whole collection it’s direct resale: between 10 and 20m. And I never spend any of that money, so it just piles up frantically. :grinning:

Maybe it’s because the community at large are having fun troll up voting crap box cars made popular by
tik tok videos instead of up voting actual cool cars that would be fun to drive and have some significance?

Like, consider this… maybe they had some other cool brand new car on the list to go after, but a huge cry for old content to be drip-recycled took some planned budget and the time that was supposed to go into that other car.

Ta-Da!

I dunno though, just spit balling. :stuck_out_tongue:

4m is a good chunk and is really about the spot where you start to build more wealth.

Some strat: Make sure you have one good car that has good tunes for at least C, B, and A class.
'04 Subaru Sti or 22B Subie are great at this. Farm as much of the single player as you can at the highest class you can at the highest difficulty and settings you can and …just race. Resist the urge to spend your time free-roaming or racing at the festival site, and do any racing you can, any accolade, any little thing you can do, playlist or whatever, and collecting cars are as good as cash… Do that and the CR will start to build.

Don’t buy cars, find accolades, or rewards for better cars and get them that way instead. And, keep any car that you get that you do not have - as you spin duplicates, you will often get the option to sell them directly (half their listed value), which is great for off-loading cars that don’t go for much on the AH and are more bother than they are worth - plus, if you say win the Shelby Daytona or any other >100m CR vehicle, you sell it, you get half that value… 50m CR or more payday for a wheel spin.

This is how I approach the game. I have over 400m CR, I don’t snipe the AH, I don’t resale, and if I do throw dupes on the AH, I put them at lower than going prices, because I’m just that cool. I didn’t even buy cars from the Auto-show… only had 144 when I went to complete that accolade and that was only about a month ago and I’ve been playing since pre, I already owned everything just from playing.

Now I buy 20m dupes days after people are winning them because I like them.
I have quite the collection of Lancia :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, check some of the other forums, like the AH forum Buy/Sell … there are cars that can be used to broker CR exchanges on the AH between interested parties. e.g.: You list a common cheap car for 20m and some willing soul buys it from you and you get the CR bump. Ta-Da!

Good luck!

Yeah, I consider myself an “anti-daily driver in Forza” person. There’s a large audience that seems to hate any new supercar or sports car being added, but personally? When I’m playing a racing game, I’d rather drive a Ferrari 488 or BMW M8 than a Ford Taurus.

I mean, there are a few exceptions. The Fiat Uno is I think 3rd or 2nd in votes, and that was a Group B rally car back in the 80s. It actually scored a podium in Portugal, 1986. I’d be all over that if we got the rally kit. But I’ve never gotten the hype for that Tsuru, which seems to be coming in Series 26.

Thanks for the advice!!!

I just bought the biggest house in the game. Before that I had 7.5 mil. One of my wheelspins was 1,000 credits. Sadly, that’s how most of them are.

No, it wasn’t a Group B car.

Sorry, bad wording. It competed during Group B.

Group B was the best.

In a couple years there will be Group E. All Rivians and Teslas.
Can you believe they’re making electric Harleys??

Oh look!! Here comes an all electric Lancia Delta S4!!!
Next is a hovering Renault 5 turbo!!!

:face_vomiting:

Here’s the new electric rally!!

We’ll have endurance races too. But they’ll be shortened because the EVs will just run out of battery. The 12 minutes of Sebring, the 6 minutes of Fuji, and of course, the great 24 minutes of Le Mans.

And don’t forget Nascar! Aren’t you excited for the Daytona 50?

Of course!! There will be a few minutes of race, the “halfway braking point”, which is 10 hours of charging, then the next few minutes of race.

What fun!!
