I’m surprised I have to post this, since I thought to myself “for sure the XP problem will be fixed before they release more dlc”… But turns out I was wrong.
So yes, my XP circle/wheel thing is still MIA. It’s been many months, and I don’t see anyone talking about it or anything. They gave me ten Super Wheel Spins (aka 99% crap) for my trouble but never bothered to fix it? Am I just missing some massive sticky post (which really is how it Should Be) explaining how to fix this glaring game breaking bug ?? It’s ridiculous that it’s even still an issue, but how the heck can Turn 10/Microsoft ignore the fact that not everyone’s FH4 is working? I used to play the game a lot, but ever since the XP wheel died I lost interest. I just do dailies/weeklies and cross my fingers every time there’s a patch. But here we are, months later, still nothing. Check the front page of the community support forum? Nothing.
S.O.S.? Do I need to make smoke signals? Haha. Am I really the last person with this issue or has everyone else just forgotten it’s an issue or ignore it for the sake of DLC. Throw me a bone here…
Yes that is what I’m referring to. And when the bug hit I got almost 4000 points shoved into my bank. I could’ve used them for exploits, get millions on the Forza auctions from selling cars easily, with that many points. But instead I’ve been waiting for the XP wheel to come back, and it hasn’t.
And I’ve never heard of any points cap, and if that’s the reason my game won’t allow more XP progression, then no one ever told me about it. Ever.
The cap was the same in FH3. Quite a few posts about it a couple of years ago. When the XP bug emerged there was quite a few posts about the cap again. I spent my perks as soon as they were refunded purely because of the cap. Made a few million and ranked up loads.
So that’s it? Because I didn’t take advantage of having 4k banked points to buy a dozen FE cars to flood the market and make millions - because I expected the makers of this game to stick all the points back where They’re Supposed To Be, I’m now paying the price by not being allowed to earn more?
Can someone at Turn 10 or MS comment? Is that really the case? Is it really just “too bad, even though we didn’t mention that your points will never return to where they came from”? Wow Turn 10 / Microsoft, just wow. How lazy are you? Don’t you have backups?
Don’t even get me started on the Stupid clothing in this game, or the engine sounds being awful… I’d loved this series for Years, and Horizon 4 is continuing to be a disappointment. Pretty sad …
Yes, you need to reapply the skill points to whatever car you wish to use them on. When your balance gets below 999, you’ll be able to accrue points again, but only up to 999.
There’s no need to submit a ticket to support, this is as official as it will get.
