In December of 2012, Turn 10 Released the Honda Challenge Car Pack in the first Horizon game. with that car pack they issued a KOTT challenge along with it with famous Indy Car Driver Scott Dixon as the man to beat. The winners of this contest were to receive a special Honda themed Xbox 360 as well as meet Scott Dixon. In order to have a chance to meet Scott, you would have had to beat his lap time at Red Rocks. I was inspired to recreate this challenge for the Forza Motorsport 4 Community!
Instead of doing it KOTT style though it will be a standard “best lap wins” senario

Car: 2012 Honda Civic SI Coupe*
everyone will be required to use the tune that I have posted on the SF. Paints are completely optional but i will be including the Honda Challenge number block on the SF as well as the Participation Design for everyone to use
obviously only clean laps are accepted, all replays you post must be your own, will also have a photo comp along with the standard challenge. Deadline will be Monday, February 29th at 11:59 EST.
Prizes:
First: 100,000,000 CR + 1st place prize car
Second: 50,000,000 CR + 2nd place prize car
Third: 25,000,000 CR + 3rd place prize car
everyone else: 10,000,000 CR,
*this car is DLC part of the January Jalopnik pack which unfortunately was removed from the marketplace, if you arent in possession of this dlc and/or this car, you wont be able to compete in this challenge
I was looking foward to see what kind of times you could have put up. for the next challenge ill try to use a car that everyone can get, i have a couple in mind already
I love Horizon, I have spent many hours running around Red Rock, and the rest of the Horizon grounds…really miss it actually…
Sorry, trailed off there sadly I missed this challenge in the game though, I bought it pretty soon after it came out, but never really played it much until things like these challenges were all over with.
Anywho, I do need to hit you up for a custom #6 Honda “Race Car.”

I really, really loved Horizon, the atmosphere was absolutely incredible! Sadly, it had no longevity… If it had an auction house, FM4’s storefront setup, and tuning I’d still be playing it, but as it stands there’s no real way to run community comps and nothing left to do in game. : (
And I’m still ticked off that the 1,000 club requires those limited time promotion DLC cars to complete…
