Simulation damage settings seem to have also been affected by the April update.
On two different nights in two different private lobbies of around 20 people simulation damage only seems to be functional for a small minority, those few seem to get damage as normal whilst everyone else is unable to receive any kind of mechanical damage even after full speed collisions with walls.
I didn’t test weather tire wear is affected but fuel seems to go down as usual so it does just seem to be the mechanical damage, I’m also unsure if this persists in public hoppers.
