Xbox one X

Hey has anybody compared the drivatar’s performance on the One-X as opposed to the regular Xbox One? I don’t know anything about writing code, so this is probably a stupid question but I was wondering if their performance could be better on the One-X. I put the drivatar difficulty on unbeatable & I’ve tried switching aggression on & off, but it does not matter, the LMP1 cars especially go off the track at the carousel on Road America. First lap 7 out of 10 drivatars go off there. By lap 2 the remaining 3 have gone off as well. I wouldn’t think whether or not you’re playing on the One-X or the regular Xbox would make a difference, but then again I don’t know anything about writing code.

Video game AI is very rarely a hardware limitation and more of a program (or programmer) limitation. Making realistic AI is difficult to program.

I am sure the AI on both consoles is identical. If it came down to hardware the AI on the PC would be pretty damn good, it is not.

Thanks…I kind of figured the AI problem would be the same across the board. I just wish Turn 10 would focus more on fixing the AI rather than implementing new features like on screen text for the hearing impaired. If I was deaf I know I would rather have decent AI than on screen text. Also Turn 10 should really work on their communication with their customers as far as what problems are still being worked on. I’ve seen posts where they say they have fixed issues only to have these problems persist after their patches. But not once have I seen them say anything like “we thought we had it fixed, but it still needs some work”. Something like that would go a long way with me.

The game code as far as features and functionality is identical across all platforms. The only differences in the game between the different consoles are all related to graphics quality, audio quality and game performance.
