Have you tried hard resetting / cold booting your console properly yet including pulling the power cable from the wall since installing

could see the pic when I first replied, but that looks like it’s overheating

Not good is a GC issue return to store ASAP, if possible print that pick and take with you that pick indicates graphic card fault of some kind, noemaly power fault or over heating, have seen it before on PC and lap tops that I have repaired when doing IT support

Mangoplah7 Sorry, i wrote first time in forum. I know it’s bad quality but i hope you guys can see problem. Can it be graphics card artfacts?

And sorry for my english

I hope it’s game, not graphics card problem

Well… yikes to the OP!

It looks like the GPU is overheating, causing the crashes. You might need to have your console replaced. However, before you do that, lower the temperature in your room, raise the console on all four supports by half an inch or so and have cool air blowing over it from the left.

See if the game crashes then. Either your console’s overheating or the GPU has already taken some damage as a result.

How old is you 1s? Is it enclosed in a cabinet or tight spot where the air flow is either restricted or non existent?

Looks the same as one of my old 360’s, just before it red ringed.

a month ago, my Day One’s fans started blowing hard when starting certain games - first time I’ver ever heard the XB1s fans go off. Then I started getting start-up crashes or freezes, including with Horizon.

I did what was suggested, and lifted it off the desk a bit with rubber feet and moved some things away from the left side of the unit. So far so, good.

Borrando cara, bought in February
ooPAYNEoo thanks for tips
My console is placed here https://imageshack.com/i/pnX3Z7mMj sorry for bad quality again but i think that youll see everything

Cooling should not be an issue with that cabinet design, plenty of room arround Xbox and open back, but still it is better to to have the Xbox vertical using the supplied stand. I personal woud be contacting Microsoft support, using there online support system works quite well. Let them know what happened and send them the immages you have. Option 2 return to store for repair or replacement. It is likely that some minor damage has been done to either GPU or one of the power circuits used by the GPU. The Xbox has about 20 of them are small black and square shaped. surronding the CPU and GPU. Onlu testing using specialized equipment will be able to detect the damage if it has happened. Better to have done before waranty runs.

Yeeesh! There’s your problem mate. Why would you do that to your console?!

Just kidding… half-choking your console like that is not a good idea at all. At this point, its difficult to say if the GPU has already taken damage due to overheating but you need to get it out there ASAP and put it on an open tabletop or desktop so it can suck in cool air from all directions.

Well that picture of you X1 stuck inside shelf - that’s not enough airflow - your making it work too hard to cool down stuck inside cabinet like that. If I wanted to keep it like that I might cut the back of cabinet out and install a small fan sucking air out of the back of that cubby - which will drawn air in the shelving from the front. That’s what causing it to overheat.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but the extractors are mainly on top and behind. There’s a few on the sides tho. But that setup should be fine. Especially with the top and back free of anything. A fan would help, but this is more than a spacing problem. I think you should get in contact with Microsoft and see about diagnosis and possible repairs. Depending on when you bought it, it could still be under warranty.

PervasiveFall8 actually this shelf is empty/opened on front and back i know u cant saw this on photo, sorry. As you said it’s still not enough airflow. I’ll install some fan on back, or replace console to open space. Thanks for reply. But shuld i be afraid that it’s something with graphics card? It happened only once, i played like 6 hours after this crash and nothing happened

Here is full video made before crash https://ufile.io/0jdl3

Make sure your Xbox slows down when taking turns so it won’t crash next time.

Oh yea, swap that out for a replacement. Don’t even bother trying to remedy the issue by cooling etc.

Warranty is a wonderful thing, take advantage of it/return to store if you still can.

Ok guys much thanks for All replies, i didnt notice any crash or something like up on screenshot since last 3 days, if it happen again my console is on warrianty to February next year so i can return it to store. But if it wont happen i think that i can calmly play next few months and check how console will work. I think that if games will run normally for long time like few months, i don’t have to return it to store how you think?

Good luck.

I personally wouldn’t risk it, if you can return it for a new one I’d do that. Otherwise I’d certainly exchange it with microsoft before the warranty runs out. Don’t want to be stuck with a broken console after the warranty runs out. My friend’s One had a disc reading error since day one but he decided to just deal with it, then it stopped functioning altogether and he was out of the warranty period.
