Xbox controller randomly just stop working (bluetooth and cable). Connected, working in windows, but unresponsive in-game. Only restart game helps, but not for long. Mc store version. This game so buggy. I haven’t played in six months, so I thought I’d come back. the number of Critical Bugs has increased, such as controller not working, sudden loss of brightness in the session, so dark you can’t see anything.

I reported this months ago as did another player and they closed the report as unable to reproduce.
here’s a some steps you could try troubleshooting have you tried disconnecting the wire from the controller & then putting it back in. Have you tried force quit the game and relaunching it. Have you tried restarting your Device does the connection get
re established? I don’t know if this applies to your situation or if this will help you…
2 scenarios when I’ve had my controller stop responding like this with PC games are:
• when I had multiple conflicting peripherals plugged in simultaneously
• when I had multiple game client apps running simultaneously (like Steam & GOG)
…So, if you haven’t already, check that you don’t have any conflicting devices or apps that might be pulling your controller’s focus away from the game.
