Why does the Club feature require the old Xbox app which is officially discontinued and replaced by the new Xbox App which does not even support clubs? Why does it require an external app in the first place?

For whatever reason they wanted to stick to the ‘Xbox Club’ feature they used on FH4. I say bring back clubs as they used to be in FH3.

I guess because they don’t care about clubs.
Back in FH3 you had a club board directly inside the game to share messages with club mates, organize mini challenges. There was even a club board allowing to distinct active from inactive players and global clubs ranking … it was not perfect but …

FH3 clubs was a great feature and decently integrated into the game itself. Is there any way in which FH5 improves upon either of its recent predecessors?

It doesn’t even work correctly in the old app that does support clubs.
Microsoft, well known for unfinished software solutions.
PGG should fix this asap or just give us the same functions for clubs featured in FH3.
Quick question about clubs… Do you have to make a new club for FH5 or can you use your FH4 one?
Because it only let’s me search for a new club or create a club but not use my FH4 one, I think

That must be it. Apparently it was beyond the wit of the programmer to differentiate between those letters when used as part of a legitimate common word.

They’re a first-party studio, so may be encouraged to use first-party tools and features.
This is also presumably why “Custom Public Lobbies” phased out 6 years ago, as Xbox has a native Looking for Group feature.

Features like this are done by Game Design, coders and Network Engineering.
Communication is Marketing/Publishing.

The club feature isn’t even working in-game. I’ve been kicked out by the game from my own club, that I manage. Luckily I don’t have any members yet. According to the known issues list, they are aware of it. I don’t even care anymore.
I hope we won’t get banned from here for saying “club”. Perhaps we’re safe so long as we don’t use the plural.
It happened to me in H4, too. Just another ‘feature’ they’ve pasted over.
