Per what the ESA and Phil have said, the physical E3Expo 2020 is canceled, which means a physical #XboxFanFest at the same time would not happen either. Safety above all. However, the experience of FanFest is not tied solely to a in-person moment; stay tuned for updates.

E3 2020 CANCELLED DUE TO GROWING CONCERNS OVER COVID-19 VIRUS

WASHINGTON – MARCH 11, 2020 – After careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our longtime E3 partners – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9-11 in Los Angeles.

Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our fans and supporters. But we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.

Our team will be reaching out directly to exhibitors and attendees with information about providing full refunds.

We are also exploring options with our members to coordinate an online experience to showcase industry announcements and news in June 2020. Updates will be shared on E3expo.com.

We thank everyone who shared their views on reimagining E3 this year. We look forward to bringing you E3 2021 as a reimagined event that brings fans, media and the industry together in a showcase that celebrates the global video game industry.

The day you’ve been waiting for is nearly here: On Thursday, July 23 at 9 a.m. PT, we’ll be giving you a closer look at the future of gaming with the Xbox Games Showcase, including world premieres and updated looks at some of the games we’ve already revealed. And yes, that includes your first-ever look at campaign gameplay from Halo Infinite.

Xbox Game Studios is pushing the industry forward with a huge variety of games, all of which support services and features that put the player first, including Xbox Game Pass and Smart Delivery.

What’s more, our celebration of all things Xbox games will start with a Summer Game Fest pre-show beginning at 8 a.m. PT. Tune in for reveals, predictions, insights from YouTube creators, and more on some already-announced titles coming to Xbox. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the Xbox Games Showcase pre-show will air on YouTube Gaming.

It is indeed, Playground was listed in the list of contributors near the beginning of the programme - so wondering about FH5 but not holding my breath. Nearly missed the FM8 stuff it went by so quick lol.

There is a snippet about upgrades for FH4 on the series X - but the playground bit may have been more Fable focussed although to be fair we didn’t see much of that either. Oh well, can’t win em all.

As was I - although I guess everything may be delayed with Covid sweeping the world. Something else we have to get used to in these uncertain times.

Still I’d rather they spent time on it and got it right first time, also gives me time to see what the series X is likely to set me back and whether or not I want to invest in one.

Plenty of free games coming with Gamepass, I’m glad I spent the £1 to upgrade my 3 years of gold last year!

I’ve got a few different racing games I’ve still to finish, there are always other games & I still pop on to FM7 to do some rivals pretty regularly - it’s disappointing it’s not just round the corner.

But to be fair from the almost complete radio silence from T10 about the game, shouldn’t be all that surprised I guess.

We’ll at least start to see some solid info flowing from this point on (hopefully) so we can build the anticipation for it, when it does land.

Yeah, but GTS is much better motorsport game so if new PS will come with a new game, it’s over for X. But I don’t trust PD to release it soon. Who knows.
