As the title says I’m having issues syncing my data every time I launch FH4. It takes two to three restarts to properly sync it, otherwise it won’t sync (loading failed) / loads forever.
Started happening yesterday and it’s bumming me out a bit ; is it a sign that my data is corrupted ? Anyone experiencing this ?
I fired the game up about half an hour before summer was due to arrive and got a message saying that it was syncing, which it wasn’t because I checked the performance under Task Manager – nothing was getting in or out. The problem with killing off the sync is that the game won’t get past that loading screen, and in the end I had to uninstall and reinstall FH4 (again).
When I restarted the game, it started syncing again, which I left alone. Nothing seemed to be happening for a long time. Then I got 2%, and perhaps about three hours later while I was off having lunch, it was done.
About the only fix seems to be patience, although I have to wonder why the game can’t quietly sync in the background because, I’d expect, local data ought to be available. Also, I should be able to manually instruct to sync if I know it wants to, but hasn’t been able to.
As you can see from my “again” above, this isn’t the first time dismally dead-slow-and-stop syncing has forced me to reinstall the game.
Ignore what task manager says, and I doubt you needed to reinstall the game.
no issue on my X1X, you should log a ticket. Sync issue are very dangerous, you could loose your profile, no backup feature as you may have already read.
You can unofficially back up your profile on PC which has saved many people including myself (I assume Anwulf was talking about PC anyway).
