Wristbands...

Is single player and multi-player wristbands in the same category or will they be separate from each other? From the demo’s perspective, it seems like it’s just one wristband. I hope that’s not the case.

You know, I’m very curious about this as well. I get the impression that the ‘wristband level’ shown by each Drivatar’s name is just there for illustration rather than being an actual wristband, while the true wristbands will be limited to the single player game.

Was wondering what that was…looked like a USB stick to me lol

LOL I thought that too, looked like a USB thumbdrive…

My understanding, from talking to someone who has access to the full game, is that wristbands don’t restrict you in singleplayer anymore. Wristbands represent your driver level overall, and it does count for both single and multiplayer like forza 5s driver level does. Apparently you can race in any car class you want and the game adapts to you. That’s how my buddy explained it anyways.

If we can really race whatever class we want throughout the career, I will be a very happy man.

Agreed haha but to further clarify what i said, your wristband color changes throughout career but your driver level is shown in it which is progressed through both single and multiplayer. I’m so stoked for next week!

I can’t remember exactly which interview it was (E3 or Gamescom), but I distinctly remember Ralph Fulton saying that the wristband/level system will be the same for single-player and online play.

Ralph Fulton did state that you are “always leveling up an progressing to the next wristband.” So, I’m expecting the wristband system to be a direct equivalent to the FM5 driver level system, just with unlocking more events as you gain them.

I think that there’s only wristbands for single player, and your single player wristband and your rank are shown in multiplayer. And, there’s not one wristband, because it’s only a demo and not the full game.

Wristbands/driver-level means nothing, as we’ve seen in FM5-hoppers. Everybody starts at 0 and will level up eventually; it doesn’t correspond to any driving-skills whatsoever.

I understand why they did it for the singleplayer-career but I would much rather see no more mentions of “who’s who and what level” in any online competition on any game.

Does anyone know what level you get the gold wristband?

I’m pretty sure it’s 150

Level 150

Ok thank you. I am 137 right now. I will keep playing for a while.

Anything that’s after gold? Or is the golden wristband the maximum?

Gold is the last wristband you can get though your driver level will continue to climb.

Gold wristband isnt unlocked at 150, thats Bronze wirstband as ive just unlocked it. Im assuming level 200 or 300 to be honest
