I'm a Gold 50!!!

I’ve been playing Horizon for 2 years now, and I have so many good memories. From being Level 1 in my A-Class Corvette on Gladstone Edstate on my first game in November 2012, I’ve arrived to Gold 50 in a 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition R1, where I got Gold 50, I’ve had a whole lot of moments behind me in Forza Horizon. At 12:51 PM, I’ve arrived to the final level.

In August 2013, I’ve finished my first wristband: Yellow. So I went to Green on Bunker in a Lamborghini Aventador, with two of my best friends: ANCIENT PAJAMAS and IronHead3650. And on blue in a Honda CR-X with those Quebec people I was playing with, I remember going on that wristband and passing it. On pink, I ranked number 4000 in the world in online Xp; then going on Orange that passed quickly.

On December, January and February, I was on Purple. My reputation has deteriorated allot on that wristband, because I started to be good, oh so good and happy and good at school, even better then before. But I was playing less, just the weekend, which makes it allot slower to level up. But the summer was coming and I knew I would progress quickly there.

Then I go on Teal; I made allot of friends and lost allot at the same time. I was taking gaming too seriously; I didn’t want to play with my friends, so I appeared offline. And I’m on Lime Green on April and May. On April, Iose my gamesaves on all my games; some of my friends remember that moment. I had to take a break online to get some cars (some good cars) for Playground. I didn’t want to play Forza anymore. Horizon was boring with nothing, and Forza 4 was even more lame. In the case of Forza 4, I was lucky: before losing my gamesaves, I put up a car for 8 000 000 Cr and it sold for that price.

To return to the subject of Horizon, lucky me, Abbie Normall has sent me a bunch of very good cars for Playground. My carrier has resumed. Then I went on Silver: been here, done that. Piece of cake. And I remember the game where it happened: at Eagle Ridge, on King, At the end of the afternoon, I say “Alex, I’m on Gold wristband forever now”! And then I look At the leaderboards, I did not believe it. I had to go out of the car to see if… oh wait, no, whatever.

And now, it’s over. The longest project I’ve done so far is done. Yesterday, I’ve won every matches I’ve played.

Thank you for reading, I’m glad to share this with you.

You’re still reading? Well, hi and thank you  xD

Gold 50 is awful! I had six freezes in a row one night… I wish I was always on yellow or green. But yes, Abbie Normall is worth knowing, if just for the insults and lame jokes :stuck_out_tongue: Glad you stuck around and got there. One thing, don’t take the online xp rank too seriously, we all know there are fast xp-ers and just because someone plays a lot doesn’t make them a better driver nor does it make them a better person, enjoy your achievements as well as your plans, remain humble, treat your fellow players with the respect they deserve, Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy… Wait! who’s writing this?!!

Can a Gold 50 tell me the glitch of the game freezing on your first game of the day AND the solution?

Not quite sure I understand your question totally! but I’m afraid there is no solution. It’s not just your first game, you may be invited to another lobby and freeze from that. But hey, at least you have the prettiest wristband now!

I’ve mentioned the gold 50 glitch and the solution somewhere on the forums and it was discussed in the old forums as well. Basically after your first online game of the day, instead of the xp showing up like it normally does, it will say you have won your first reward and then freeze which you will have to restart your console. From the old forums, there is a way round this, a workaround. Before you play with other people online, create a private lobby with only yourself in the lobby, no one else, choose a small circuit like eagle ridge mini or Clifton valley mini, pick a R1 car and do 1 lap of this circuit by yourself and finish the race, it takes 30 seconds. You won’t gain xp for this race since you are the only person in the lobby, let it go back to the lobby and now you can join other people online without freezing. Bear in mind that if you go back into single player for whatever reason you have to do the workaround again if you go into multiplayer since you are starting a fresh session at this point. I’ve had success doing it once but you could do it twice or do 2 laps if the servers aren’t behaving as they should for good measure. I do it every time I race online and I have never had the glitch. Sadly it’s unlikely to be fixed but at least there is a way round it. Congrats on reaching Gold 50 Racer4Evr

I dont think you have to do the workaround again if you go back to single player, ive done that and ive never had to do it, even when i sign back into xbox live as long as im in Forza Horizon then its fine, ive only had to do it if ive exited the game, shouldnt that work for everyone?

I’ve had it freeze when I went back into multiplayer again after a while in single player so I just do the workaround as a precaution. Maybe it doesn’t freeze for some but does for others?

I’m in the Club… finally.

hi um im new to horizon and the forza games can someone
explain how the onling lvling works do you have to get to
lvl 50 with each colour or is it dome other way please can
someone help
and congratz on the achivement

Hi GrinningROO! Welcome to the Forums and the Forza Franchise! You will see that some players are more active than some others, but don’t be afraid of their personnality.
You will meet some good and bad players, but you should know how to avoid them!

Let’s go to the question now.

So you started to play Horizon, right? Surely. You will notice that offline, there is 7 wristbands, if I’m not mistaking. Those wristbands are Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple and Gold. To pass them, the tutorial is simple: you just have to do some races to earn points and eventually reach the next wristband.

On line, the tutorial is similar, although you have something called Experience Points (XP), which you surely knowed already. To level up, you must gain a certain amount of XP. It goes from 1 to 50. When you reach 50, you have to get a certain amount of Xp; it varies between each wristbands. After getting that amount, you level up and go to another wristband.

It starts with Yellow, then continues with Green, proceeds with Blue, then Pink, Orange, Purple, Teel, Lime Green, Silver, and, finally, Gold.

Between all those wristbands, you will see some players who are better, the best are mostly the Golds, although you might find some strong Yellow guys. That is because the Gold guys have earned experience, and learned, while passing that achievement, some tactics and technics, and especially, tunes for good cars.

I hope this helps, this also covers a bit of things to expect in the future on line.

I will just leave with one thing: finish the offline story before jumping on line.

For the rest, have fun, and stay with us for a long time, you have a very big community with you (including me)!

“That is because the Gold guys have earned experience, and learned, while passing that achievement, some tactics and technics, and especially, tunes for good cars.”

Erm… what?! haha! I disagree about finishing the offline mode first. You only become good on the playground by playing the playground. Some guy a month ago didn’t understand online levels and he thought because he was gold in the story mode that he was the best driver in the lobby, he was not… He resorted to name calling in the end (not to me, I’m far too polite to get involved in that sort of thing!) and talked about firearms… nice guy(!)

Oh, there are two good types of yellow drivers; new to the game but not driving games, you can tell as they don’t know the tracks. And second accounts, they know the tracks and are easily recognizable as their bio/Gamerscore aren’t quite right… but I wouldn’t know about second accounts! :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome to Level 50 Gold…its Quite a Journey and a sigh of relief When you finally Hit It

yup gold 50 took some serious grinding, I think I was in the low 600’s online before I switched too the xbone, I will have to pop in H1 one of these days too see if I’m atleast still top 1000 , but yes wristband level’s online don’t reflect skill

I was talking about on line, but sometimes it’s like that, since the player has earned experience.

also getting to gold 50 in playground don’t make you good im gold 50 and i have only ever entered like 200 playground games lol i think my total exp is somewhere around 35 million and i have one nearly 4000 races out of about 6000 or so and have collected well over 400 cars in the time ive been playing but actually have around 356 cars in my garage now and about £24 million cash with a garage parts value of about £6 million i have worked hard for what i have and would love to race anytime or anything else. congrats tho bro.
