Hello
So latelly i’ve (un)fortunatelly had some extra time to waste, and have spend much of it working on a website about Forza, for newbies like me.
I have close to no wisdom, when it comes to driving, but gaining experience, and putting it down as i learn.
One thing i’ve come up with, is a random lap-time challenge. The idea is to tune a car to a specific PI, and take it around a specific track as fast as possible.
I’ve tried tuning a few cars to that, and take them around the track (Long Beach East) but honestly, i have no idea what i’m doing.
Would any of you guys want to take up the challenge, and most importantly, maybe do a short text, to put on the site, about what, how and why you chose to upgrade/tune the car you chose? Videos would also do just fine, if you’re more comfortable with that or if its easier.
Would really like your feedback on this, the site, and maybe if you have some ideas
Great idea you’ve had hear, firben! I’m confident many people will appreciate what you are doing.
Regarding your PI 436 challenge at Long Beach East, muscle cars such as the Fords, Dodges and Pontiacs are some of the ideal options as that track in C Class demands low handling and high accel/speed. I’ll have a few guys mess around in different cars and compare lap times later this week, happy to post our results on your website. What times have you been getting so far?
Hi Jon
Sounds great!
I would really appreciate this!
My best time was a low 1:03
I did try a few different cars and the best time, i set with a BMW
For muscle cars, i did try an old Ford Mustang, but ended up overpowering it, so i did wheel spins all the way up to 4th gear.
If you don’t mind, any thoughts, results and finds you guys do during your trys, would be great! What didn’t work out, why, and how you came up with the best upgrade & tune? Doens’t have to be long, just a few words and notes, i can work with to help other newbies like me to learn how to upgrade and tune. Also i am sure Long beach track it self has some tricks that would be great to share… I found out that the first “real” corner, you can cut pretty deep, without dirtying your lap
