SEASONAL EVENTS

The unique reward listed for seasonal championship events requires you to place 1st against at or above the Highly Skilled Drivatar difficulty setting; the Trial requires Unbeatable difficulty. As of Series 24 Playground Games rewards the car for all participants, win or lose.

The Charger Daytona was absolutely superb in the trial, don’t know if there are better options but all the same I highly recommend it.

What a dull winter. Nice addition of the Performante in the shop, but this will be a PR stunt only season for me.

It seems to me, the last time the Vans and Utilities Forzathon was up, the only one that could 3-star the Rail yard danger sign was the Ford Pursuit.

the only eligible car for the micro street scene event is the car you win as a reward? what about the 166m barchetta is a micocar or is this a known issue?

This confuses me too. Why is that the only car that appears when checking the eligible cars list? Can I use another microcar in the event even though it doesn’t show up in eligible cars?

ManteoMax Tip: Many of the cars classified in the Microcar Mayhem theme are Cult Cars and small Classic Sports Cars like the Lotus Elan Sprint; the event will only show currently eligible cars rather than potentially eligible, so you’ll need to upgrade the car from D to C class for it appear when prompted to choose a car.

Many players with C class Microcar Mayhem cars in their garage are saying that it’s only showing the Ferrari as eligible so it may be a glitch. The Microcar (Mayhem) is a strange category/class/theme in that you cannot filter for it and it’s possible that the code for getting eligible cars only looks for cars in their original stock configuration. You can use any C class Microcar Mayhem car in your garage.

I used the 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint which also nailed the event 9 months ago when Microcar Mayhem was a trial. Several C600 tunes are available.

Here’s how to find out which cars are eligible for the Micro Mayhem, Heavy Hitters, Worlds Fastest Road Cars, or any of the other “Horizon Special” themes … Go to any track and create a blueprint, highlight the appropriate special theme. At the bottom of the screen you’ll see the option to view all eleigible cars.

Yes, it just has to be tuned to C class. I used a sprite and shared the tune. The eligible car list for the championships is filtered to cars that fit the assigned class with their base PI. It doesn’t include cars that can be tuned to be eligible.

The 166mm is selling quickly in the auction house now.

Ah, that makes sense. The cars not being C class by default did occur to me later, but I thought I had a Sprite tuned to C in my garage. I must not have. Thanks for the explanation (and to WhiteBurrito42 also) and the list! I’m going to hang on to it in case a microcar event rolls around again.

Yes. I don’t want to spend $6,000,000+ to buy the car I’m trying to win! lol. I hope this can be fixed. I’d like to use any other C Class Classic Racers. I assume that was the intent.

You can use other Micro cars like the Abarth 595, Lotus Elan, Mini (classic) AND more. But they have to be C tuned. For cars mentioned plenty of C tunes can be found.

And its winter again :slight_smile:
Lets get into it then. First as usual the trial and its B 700 road racing, with classic muscle cars. First did try my Stingray, but after running first test race also with Camaro, I took the later on. Both use vintage tires.
Race was nice and I got 2x 1st, and 2nd in last, where player in Corvette held me back just enough time, so I finished a car length behind first placed plyer in Falcon. Anyway 3:0 for team, so job done.

To PR stunts and as always used Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for danger sign and speed trap, McLaren Senna, tune - 176 256 116 for speed zone. Again some problems with danger sign, where I totally missed the target (night time didn’t help either), as I forgot which intersection is the right one to start from (its the one with road to the right), then everything done on first try, no rewinds.

Weekly Forzathon and its a pick from vans and utility cars … El Camino anyone? Yes? Ok Chevrolet El Camino updated A 800 tune - 104 708 874, went for another Colossus drive, then headed back to highway, switched to solo mode and easily scored those threading the needle skills. Now back to seasonal danger sign at railyard … need moar powah :slight_smile:
Well Ford Transit FE did look like the one who could do it, so slapped a 6.5 V12 along with all upgrades and rally tires … jump 3 stared on first go.

Yes, fully upgraded El Camino, with same 6.5 V12 can also easily hit 3 stars, tune for both not shared, as its only slap all upgrades on, adjust gearbox, diffs, aero and suspension and go for it.

I’ve always been able to 3 star the rail yard danger sign with the GMC Vandura. Tune is shared.

Edit: sorry if that sounded rude. I also made it with the VW double cab which is DLC.

And both the new GMC’s have plenty of S2 tunes wich can easily do the trick. The one thing that always helpes me with this danger sign is to clear a route from benches and other debris… and then plan your route from the snow (mind not going to hard over the 1st and 2nd jump).

Game made me buy a 6.5 mil ferrari when i have both the 3 wheeler and elan which qualify… wth. Would like an explanation plz

The explanation is that a 30-second google search or looking in the current week’s challenge post would have told you what other cars are part of that category.

When you click “Show Eligible Cars” it not only defines by the category, but also the PI class of the event. Most of the cars in the Microcars (or Micro engines, whatever) are D-class so they won’t show up. So it won’t show cars out of the PI class because technically they don’t qualify. And it only goes by the stock PI because it doesn’t scan your garage to see if you tuned cars in that range.

There are some other categories like this as well. Heavy Hitters is another one.

Not trying to be funny or snarky but it really doesn’t take much working out, if the 166 was the only actual eligible car the championship’s category would say so when you look on here or on the in-game map + the ‘view eligible cars’ has always been the same in that it only shows you the cars that meet the requirements stock.

Additionally you could set up an event yourself with the microcars Horizon special category + open class applied to see what eligible cars you own and then possibly see other ones that you don’t own within the race.
